thanks doloresmia, I was wading through the carre en carre thread and I think I caught a glimpse of you in a top made of two of them in the silk 90? Which ones do you like best. . . was one the 04 colorway and one the gray, taupe-y one ?? (I think of them as ms. piggy colors because she does neutrals so beautifully) Hope I am not confusing it with another scarf. . . I took a peek at the 01 colorway that Diva 999 has and the 04 (that I think LBB has) and really wish H had done a cashmere in a brown/burgandy/taupe like colorway. That is what is holding me back -- well, that, and the fact that my amex needs a rest :(

Madison got some GMs in noir/blanc/or in and I was able to try one on. . .and even in cashmere, there is too much gold/yellow - no matter how it is folded.

hey doll! i love both, but if push came to shove i would choose 04 - the corail. the red tones are so gorgie. the other one has browns and greens - same as MaiTai's. i love both so luckily push is not going to come to shove with my H scarves!

i am also thinking of ms/ piggy's etoupe one, but need to see it IRL. just tried on the Please Check In in 70, but since i mostly wear my scarves as shirts, it won't work for me. too wide for a 70cm.

i spent about 20 minutes in SCP trying to convince the SM that there should be a more neutral C en C shawl for SS09. he listened very politely, but SS is bright colors and what can you do? they had a few tigre royals and a marwahi in a sandy/beige color in the drawer, nice tones but i just am not sure about the pattern for me.

the search for a natural/black combination continues!

Gotcha! I am going back to retry 04 rather than 01 :) thanks! Will also alert gina123 that there's a beige mahwari - she was looking for one. . .hugs!

880, trying to get me into deeper trouble i see... :hugs: Yes, I was looking for beige but more and more I stare at it, the red around the boarder... ummm not sure.

doloresmia, how did you like the beige mahwari against your skin tone???

sorry i did not see this sooner Gina! i definitely liked the beige part, but beige is one of my favorite colors. just call me a wild one. it is not a flat beige, more like grains of sand KWIM?

Is anybody else counting the days until tods a/w2009 thread? I just had to check, she posted it on the 28th of May last year. I just can't wait.... I feel like doing this:dothewave: to make it happen sooner!!​

I can't wait to see the a/w scarves. My SA in NYC said there were some with fringes, fringes different than last season she felt. She even said it would be worth the wait.

I'm not a patient person. Not one of my virtues. She had no pics.

MissM, it's a stunner, but oh the price. I wouldn't dare carry a shawl that expensive. Mooks, sounds perfect for you. Will it go with your secret SO:graucho:? Or do you plan to spice up black with it?
