That was my guess as well - and that is the one I'm going to try to get my hot little hands on. Without pictures it is sure difficult to get a sense of what they will really look like, though, isn't it?!?

where rose shocking is the contrast hem, the prune is on the design and rose fluo on the background?

Me too! I'm finding it hard to visualise them from the list of colourways. And you and bags could be right that the first colour is the hem. I just can't wait to see pics!

It has been true in the past that if the scarf has a contrast hem the first color listed is the hem color. So you could have an almost totally white scarf with a black hem and it would be listed as noir.

I find it absolutely amazing that we are dreaming about not one but two seasons....and have pictures of GM designs two seasons out - it certainly is a first experience, for me.....aaaaaand loving it! Thanks to MaiTai for her fabulous sleuth work on A/W pics and data and the scarf boards and LiW for posting such great detailed data of c/ws.....double drool -and S/S is only just arriving....marvelous! :woohoo:

Sorry I didn't have my internet for 2 days and thus wasn't able to reply sooner.

Katel -- Thank you so much for posting the large photo for me. :flowers: I didn't know how to do it myself. My DH will love what you said. I do feel lucky to have a husband like DH. He's the one who surprised me with my first H goodies and got me into H and tPF.

The explanation I got from the SA at the Madison Avenue store about the c/s Cirque Molier is that they asked Hermes to produce a design in c/s in several color ways for just their store because they sell so many c/s shawls. They wanted something additional to offer their customers. It also probably helped that they were offering it in GM mousseline for this season. It remains to be seen whether it will be issued in the same and/or some additional color ways for all the boutiques in the future. I think many of us would never have known about it if it were not for this forum!!

There is no way I would be able to see this person before buying. Any help on the actual description would be much appreciated, thank you. Can someone tell me which pic is closer to the true colours of 03 in real life?

I have the same dilemna Miss Piggy- at these prices, I have to be very sure what I buy is going to be something that works for me. I had one (terracotta) on hold and decided to pass because none of these cws are exactly my colors. There is a whole lot of other silk mischief to get into with the Spring and Fall collections- I have learned that if I am on the fence about something, it is better not to pull the trigger. Have to admit these shawls look beautiful here.

For sure toujours*chic. I much prefer to buy them on sight and upon trying but alas it is not possible all the time (and especially if I'm tempted by special issues limited to certain stores). So far I have acquired 2 shawls sight unseen and have been lucky they worked. The thing is each picture/photo has different lighting and our monitors are not the same either. Description works to a certain extent but certainly nothing beats seeing it in person!

Do you know this design? One aspect that has been mentioned is that there is a lot of open space in the center. So the interior colors need to work for you because folded, they will be near your face. The 3 cws have either tangerine, mauve (?) or bright turquoise in the center. For me, the cobalt blue border GM mous is a better choice. Good luck on whatever you decide.
