Thank you LIW for the colorways. I can't decide which Kelly en Caleche to get--can you ladies give me suggestions? I have a TB in Cassis as well as the Boldud in Orange. Of those colorways which one would be different from the ones above. Also, if I email my SA and tell her which one I want now and to call me when it comes in --will she wonder where I got my info.? Do I need to wait longer? TIA!!!

My vintage 70 Kelly en Caleche is a black background with gold.

There is a white background with black, and a hint of red.

There is one with brown background with orange.

And the vanilla background with pink one.

This design is totally fabulous. However when tied in the bias fold, you can't really see much of the design except for some random bits and the contrast hem.

^^ Thank you LS! I've forgotten about the thread. I agree the print doesn't show up much when folded. For the vintage 70, it looks great worn as a top.

Here are the AW 2009 colours :
01 rose shocking/prune/rose fluo
02 clie/marron glace/blue jean
03 capucine/chocolate/encre
04 parme/amethyste/kaki
05 safran/violet/cannelle
06 naturel/brun/noir
07 noir/gris/orange

And here are some the 70 vintage scarf from AW 2007. I think the colours are not similar. Closest is probably 03 with the first pic.

RG, maybe 01 (rose shocking) or 05 (safran) - these sounds like your sunshine colour. It's hard to say until we get visuals. And I think it's best to keep the colourways quiet for now until nearer to AW (or at least till summer?)

DiamondS i'd never seen pavements in the GM and it's one of my fave designs -- you too look super!

well here are a couple of pix of me with the Tigre Royal shawl i just got in lieu of the Passementerie (which i had thought was my HG, but without trying it on IRL i just couldn't spring for it...)

TR looks soooo lovely on you!! Aww, it's my all time favorite design but too bad the H boutiques in my country only have it in ONE colorway. They said that Asians don't like to wear tigers on their backs so the TR doesn't sell well here. :push: I want one!!! I wanted to blow this pic up for you but there's something wrong with my computer now...I can't paste the pics so I'm attaching them again, hope you don't mind. :smile1:

^ hmm, interesting, i had no idea (about the tiger on the back superstition).
well i hope you find your dusty rose Marwari and this one if you are still looking jenyi! i am really appreciating the "classic" feel of it as i'm so attracted to looks from another age... i feel like they have 'stood the test of time.' of course i realize this is all completely subjective! but it is fun when we see something that makes us sigh, "ahhhh, that's lovely" right? ;)

Kallie Girl, I love your orange Cirque, thank you so much for posting those fab pix. I am not able to wear orange so I usually don't pay attention to the orange, but your orange shawl collection is wonderful! I have the Marwari myself, in the bright fuchsia color...wish I had been on the ball when the Cheval sur mon Carre came out!

Lucky Mom, thank you - the photo of the black Cirque shawl is drop dead gorgeous!! I have my fingers crossed that one of those becomes mine! I was wondering about the mousseline GM as well...your DH was so cute to note that if you didn't get both you'd regret it...I may listen to his advice on that as well!

I will let you know if I get some good news from H this week about a black Cirque shawl coming my way!! :yahoo:

Actually, my SA tells me that the colorways are "read" from the outside of the scarf/shawl, in. So the first colorway written should be the outer border. On some with contrasting hems, the first color is sometimes the hem color. I find it almost impossible to tell what a scarf/shawl will look like from the list of colors - darn it!

I can't wait to see the Kelly en Caleche!

I loved the black/white/red and wish they would do similar colors. For the life of me, I can't figure out what the Kelly en Caleche GMs will look from the list of colorways...does this mean I should order them all?!?
