Thoughts on the perforation:
It is documented that when the bag was first designed, the purpose of the perforations was to enable air circulation around the grooming kit and would not be facing outwards.
This design decision is reinforced by the way in which the fastening, which traditionally would be on the outside of bags (e.g. Kelly, Birkin, Constance, Roulis . . .), is on the non perforated side.
It really does not matter which way people choose to wear their Evelynes.
It is not a right or wrong with serious consequences like putting diesel in you petrol car.
What I think is interesting is that when the sellier version was developed, the subtly stylised H was impressed onto the side with the fastening. i.e. the front of the bag
Is this a recognition that the preferred way of carrying the original Evelyne is with the perforated logo outward facing?
