Surprise purchase today as a walk inâ- 29 (pm) Evie in sage! My first one after years of collecting Kellys and Birkins.

Thoughts on the perforation:
It is documented that when the bag was first designed, the purpose of the perforations was to enable air circulation around the grooming kit and would not be facing outwards.
This design decision is reinforced by the way in which the fastening, which traditionally would be on the outside of bags (e.g. Kelly, Birkin, Constance, Roulis . . .), is on the non perforated side.
It really does not matter which way people choose to wear their Evelynes.
It is not a right or wrong with serious consequences like putting diesel in you petrol car.
What I think is interesting is that when the sellier version was developed, the subtly stylised H was impressed onto the side with the fastening. i.e. the front of the bag
Is this a recognition that the preferred way of carrying the original Evelyne is with the perforated logo outward facing?

Has anyone ditched the organizer for the evelyne 29 and been happy with it? I am finding the organizer is really taking up too much space and considering going to just pouches or loose items. I tend to like organizers for structure or keeping the interior clean but I am losing a ton of space in the 29 with the organizer (Mai Tai). It doesnât seem to be wide enough. Is there a better organizer or better to just skip it and use pouches?
I do not use an organizer in my 29, but I do use a very small makeup pouch (cheap, brightly colored, freebie you get when you buy a certain amount from whatever brand) that keeps a couple lip glosses, a powder, hand cream, nail file, and hand sanitizer. Easy to find in the depths and I do not want any makeup stains.
I still use an insert from samorga for my Evie 29 (thin felt version - 1.2mm). I do see where you are coming from, maybe try getting a silk organiser? Is the Mai Tai one silk as well? If not, may sound silly to some, just use a zip log bag either from the supermarket or ikea...thin enough to slip in and very useful as well. I use the snack size version for my mini aline bag
I have an Evie TPM (16cm) and use a 7RP insert. This insert works so well because it has high pockets, giving space on two levels for one's items.
I was wrong in my post. Itâs a 7RP evelyne 29 insert and itâs way too narrow. I took it out this morning and used pouches and the bag has much more space.
I have a 7RP insert for a sellier Kelly that I love but the evelyne version I would not recommend.
I never use a an organiser. I use a Loewe zipped, suede pouch. The pouch hits about half-way up, and because it's wedge shaped doesn't leave any marks (Clemence) and easy to popper. Inside the pouch I use a series of silk drawstring pouches for little objects and another for card holders. My phone in the front pocket.
My keys and my work card go underneath (both on lanyards) and sometimes sunglasses and/or mini umbrella on top. If not worn, scarf tied to the bag or folded inside.
