Ugh....I keep stalking the Hermes website HOPING and WISHING to snag a Evelyne 29. Does anyone have any suggestions on when/how? I found Madison Avenue Couture where I could purchase at a MUCH HIGHER price. Has anyone had any experience with this company? Are they legit authentic? Any issues with them, besides the price increase? TIA
Are you after only one specific color? You truly have to stalk and be on the site the second the bags load to have a chance. There are several Facebook buy/sell groups in which resellers (and others) sell Evelynes at a fraction of the price as on resale sites.
There are a few colors I would consider. It is more for the functionality of this bag.
Are you able to mention some of these groups? The AU site had Evelynes today but I wasn't fast enough.

Here in Germany I see this a lot, unfortunately. People put them up for sale before the bag even gets to them using pictures from the website to advertise their sale. It's such a shame. It makes me sad everytime I see it. Someone really would have loved to get that bag and didn't get the chance because someone else wants to make a profit.
When I decide I don't like a bag I return it to Hermès so that someone else gets the chance to purchase it directly from Hermès. I would also never buy a bag to sell it because it means I would reach my limit at Hermès reagarding the amount of bags I'm allowed to buy per year.
I also wanted to give you an update on the Evelyne in Vermillon. Sadly, I had to return it because it had a very visible defect. I decided to go for a refund instead of an exchange. The color was gorgeous but didn't quite match my wardrobe.
