Re: the sagging. In addition to an insert, I find hanging or laying the Evelyne flat when not in use (as opposed to resting in its base) prevents sagging.

Thanks for your reply @golconda Actually It is part of a research that left me scratched my head so much. I am a sucker for Kelly and Evelyne, and recently purchased a vintage Evelyne PM I in one european consignment site. It stated as Clemence leather, but I am pretty sure it is not, because the grain looks closer to Togo. So I dig deeper in purseforum, and found comments that there are definitely some which were made from Togo leather. I did not see any picture of Togo leather Evelyne, but I came across your post about the strap and noticed that all three leathers are different.

Now that I have the bag in my hand, I see more differences between Evelyne I and III
Left is new to me Gold Togo Ver I and Right is my Etoupe Clemence Ver III.



It is waaayy....more than back pocket and adjustable strap.
- While they both share same width of 29cm, Evelyne I is longer by 1,5 cm.
- The buckle where the strap clasped is bigger on Evelyne I
- The strap of Evelyne I is narrower than the newer version.

Pretty sure this is a Togo leather right ? Comparing close-up both Evelyne, and my Kelly gold in Togo.

I agree the gold is Togo. Here is my Togo Evelyne I. It is lighter weight than same size Evelyne I in Clemence.

Does anyone here use a Samorga organizer with their Evelyne 29?? All experiences would be appreciated I’m thinking of getting one but wondering if it’s a good idea to help keep the bag’s shape over time it or will it be annoying?

I have Samorga organizers in all my Evies. I like that you can customize the number of pockets and I feel it helps the bag keep its shape but still slouch a bit. Pics of my Evie 29 with insert here and here.

Recently started my H journey and I am so excited to add my first Hermes bag to my bag collection. Evelyne 16 TPM in the color Bleu France. It was quite a difficult bag to get without purchase history, so consider yourself lucky if you got one just walking in!

What vendors do y'all like to get your straps from other than Hermes these days? The one that came with my TPM is starting to pill and every once in a while I feel a sharp prick, like a wire in my shoulder area. I wore it so long one time that my shoulder got really irritated and red.

Congrats on your purchase, esp such an in-demand color!!! I don't have any pics to share, but I love the Evie 29. I feel like it's such a cute bag that is also so practical... unlike some of the mini bags that so many (including myself!) trip ourselves over!
