That is a really old post but it looks like Vert Cypress.Does anyone know what the color of the second Evelyne here is?
I think so too. That is a really old post but it looks like Vert Cypress.
I hope to find a small vespa in good condition one day. i prefer the small vespa to the current Evie tpms. The small Vespa is the same size as Evelyne TPM and has long cross body strap. The only issue is that when the toggle is closed it cuts down on the room inside the bag, but I love the chaine d'ancre toggle and the barenia strap (rather than canvas) You may find a vintage one in Barenia.
Could you share photos of the scratches?Hi, I'm fairly new with Hermes bags. I recently bought an Evelyne TPM in Taurillon Maurice leather. After using it for the first time (a couple of hours only), I am shocked to see there are scratches on the leather. I didn't abuse the bag, was wearing it on my shoulder/cross body and placed on a chair. Anyone else have the same experience with this type of leather? Is it a delicate leather that I have to be extra careful with?
Hope the photo is clear, not the best lighting right now. This is after I used Collonil leather gel to polish it.Could you share photos of the scratches?
Super tiny so don’t take this as gospel but those look like fat spots emerging. Do a search in this forum for “white spots” and see if it is the same issue. If it is, you should just be able to rub your finger over it and it’ll go away.Hope the photo is clear, not the best lighting right now. This is after I used Collonil leather gel to polish it.
Thanks for your input. I did try to rub my finger over the spots but they didn't go away. I managed to reduce them to these small spots with Collonil, not sure if this is recommended but it did help.Super tiny so don’t take this as gospel but those look like fat spots emerging. And YMMV, but a lot of people have opinions on this site about conditioning/treating your H bags yourself. Hopefully you’ll get some helpful tips.

That or Vert Amande, but it's hard to tell in the lighting (VA usually looks much lighter but the photo is a bit shadowy).Thank you for replying! I ask because I have an Evelyne I bought in Amsterdam last summer and I didn’t catch the name. The receipt doesn’t have it either. It looks like the one in this picture.
I have an Evelyne tpm in vert cypress, so I know my Evelyne is not that. I’m starting to lean towards vert de gris… maybe I’ll just post it in the “identify this color” threadthanks again!!
I prefer the 29. It might look better if it was hanging a bit lower but you have lots of room to lengthen the strap. Years ago I tried on the 29 and thought it was a bit too small. I bought the 33 and shortly after wished I had gone with the 29 - probably an increasing personal preference for smaller bags. Even though the difference between the 29 and 33 is a few centimetres I do find enough of a difference that I got rid of my 33 and have hunted down a 29.View attachment 5349344View attachment 5349345
33 Vs 29 Evelyn on a bigger guy. Gold is the 29. Wynn Vegas has a 16! But not a color I would want.
