Some of them seem to come with a special strap and others with a solid strap. I am sure the special strap costs more and was wondering if someone could tell me what the price difference is and if you like the special strap vs the solid strap.

I have a TPM with a striped strap. The price was the same. I think the stripe is a bit sportier and more casual than the solid.

But some have same color straps, some have solid different color straps and some have pretty patterned straps. Since the Hermes.com website doesn’t have any TPM listed can someone educate me about the varying prices. Hard to know if fashionphile is asking a good price because I don’t know what they cost new. I do love the patterned stripe though. Any help would be appreciated.

The retail price is $1800 for clemence, $1875 for Maurice, and $1575 (I think) for felt. The price does not depend on color, strap, or hardware. It is the same regardless of these details. The “Amazone” moniker means it has a wooly canvas strap. All current year Evelyne TPMs are amazone. Years ago, they came with non removable leather straps. When they changed to wooly straps, they updated the name to amazone.

They are a high demand, low supply item so Fashionphile lists them at whatever price the market will bear. I personally cannot believe people actually pay that much but to each their own.

Sorry forgive me, I found the answer. It's been a while since I have used the forum and I am a little rusty. It is a beautiful bag and beautiful color. It seems to photograph very differently in many pictures. Enjoy!

Thank you for the suggestion. I have decided that I like linen more than felt for the insert. And this one is a lot less expensive than Fourbi or Maitai.

Hi. Asking please for your expertise: Does the linen insert provide any structure to the bag? I just got my preloved Evelyne this week. Put my iPhone in the smaller front pocket and I can see a bit of the outline of the phone. I am wanting a bit of structure, but I am worried about the felt inserts stretching the leather and\or taking up storage space.

@Newbie1895 regarding your query, I'm forwarding my own post from October 2020 regarding the Senamon non felt organiser. I've had it now for 3 months and I'm really pleased with it. It gives structure to the bag without stretching the leather.

I purchased the Senamon non felt Organizer with zipper in purple (to match my Evelyne PM in raisin) and I am very happy about this item.
It gives some structure to the bag without being too rigid and the compartments help a lot in keeping the bag organized and hopefully in avoiding accidents like the hand sanitizer leak.
The organizer was purchased directly from the Senamon website (cheaper than using Etsy as intermediary). It was shipped promptly using UPS and delivery was free of charge.
