I’d love to add an Evelyne (PM or GM) to my collection and my SA knew I loved Bleu Frida and it was number 1 color on my wish list. She called me today as they had one GM in this colour, I’ve been trying it but just wanted to give it a second thought, as she showed me also a PM in Feu and I also loved it to pieces! So I would love to hear your thoughts, as the true experts. My wardrobe is pretty simple: blacks, greys, beiges. I have a Gold B30 and an Étoupe Bolide 31. So I would love an Evelyne in a bright color, to bring that twist to my everyday routine. I am petite, 1m 60 cm... so what should I do? Should I take the GM in Bleu Frida (that I really love and it might be harder to find if I pass my turn now), or PM in Feu (new to my wishlist since I saw it today)? Sharing some modelling pics from the GM. My bad that I didn’t take any pics with the Feu PM. Thanks in advanced for your advice!

It’s here! PM in Beige de Weimar with GHW and Maurice leather. I love the color and the softness of the Maurice leather, but I’m on the fence about keeping . The bag didn’t arrive with any protective stickers on the strap clasps.

I purchased it directly from Hermes.com but I’m wondering if it could have been a boutique display. All the hardware looks very good. The ring on the right side of the bag has a small scuff but it is imperceptible unless you are up close.
I’m probably being too picky! Thoughts?

It's beautiful! Though, more likely a website return. I'm kind of surprised that they accepted that back without the plastic on the hardware. I thought returns had to be pristine, in original condition.
Thanks for the quick response! I agree—it must be a return. I guess I have to decide what’s acceptable at this price point and also decide how much I want this color combo; I’ve never seen it come around before and am not keen to wait for it again.
I just got off the phone with customer service and was told that “all items shipped are brand new.” They offered to have me send a picture of the scuff so they can assess the issue. We’ll see!
I can`t remember having sticker on the clasps of my brand new Evie. Are you sure there are some usually?
As far as I can tell from YT videos and posts from others on the forum, there are often stickers on the clasps of the strap. I was under the impression that returns would not be accepted without stickers intact. Should I choose to return it due to the scuff, I don’t want the lack of stickers to hold anything up. Hermes has responded to the photos and says a specialist will be in touch with me soon.
I’m hopeful that this will be resolved in a positive manner.
The clasps had stickers for both of my Evies, one purchased at my local boutique and the other on the website.

Some would say it'll get scuffed once you use it, so not a big deal. Others need pristine items.
I would totally keep it. The second you clip the strap on you will get a couple scratches. Enjoy that beauty! My Evie 29 did not have plastic on the hardware, my TPM did.
My 29 had stickers on the clasps....but this is a great combo!
I’ve ordered (and returned) a few Evelynes from the website. They usually come with plastic on the clasps, making it impossible to try the strap on the bag. I once called customer service and they said I could remove the plastic, but just need to be careful not to cause any scratches on the hardware (in case of return). They did not say anything about needing to put plastic back on, although I did anyway prior to returning. My guess is you got a returned bag. That frankly would bother me, though for a hard to find color and a bag that’s in otherwise perfect condition, I’d probably look the other way.
I bought mine PM 29 in the store with now plastic on . I could choose between 3 colours and it was the same for all of them. Maybe they had been shown to somebody else, I don’t know. Did not bother me. All were in perfect state.
I hope I asking this in the right place. I haven't posted in a very long time. I have an Evelyne GM which I love and just got a PM. I would like to get a TPM for evenings out, but I am confused. Some of them seem to come with a special strap and others with a solid strap. I am sure the special strap costs more and was wondering if someone could tell me what the price difference is and if you like the special strap vs the solid strap.
