What a wonderful colour! And a perfect twilly for it!
I just got my GM and have so far used it as a shoulder bag. Though I'm roughly 5'7". I'll try to take a photo of me wearing it as a shoulder bag!

Hi! My Evie is in Malachite. For me, I don't find this bag practical and unfortunately she spends much of her time in my closet. That's just my opinion. If I were 3-4" inches taller I think I would use her more. It's partially the strap, the Evie strap is too long even on the shortest setting. I should take the strap in and at least ask for it to be shortened. Don't get me wrong I love crossbody bags and most of my bags are at least crossbody able. It's a beautiful bag and color but I just like it on taller people.
I took 8" off my Evie strap when I bought it and it's perfect for me at 5'2" (I think I am 5'1" but my doctor just measured me...guess I am still growing!). I highly recommend shortening the strap if you're petite. H will usually do it gratis at purchase, always worth asking after

Thanks, I'm very happy with the size as I love large, roomy bags! I first wasn't sure if it was the right size or not when I ordered it (found it on H.com and hadn't had the chance to try it before I ordered it now during corona, when all H shops are closed in my part of the world).
I have also somewhere else on tPF found recommendations for this store on Etsy for custom length bag straps. Planning to order on in Clemence leather when I've figured out my perfect strap length as I'm not a huge fan of the strap included with the Evie (Though comfortable and nice that it's adjustable!). I'll let you know when I've ordered it and tried it!

8" was perfect for me to wear crossbody OR shoulder. But, I am small and also most of my height is in my legs. You just have to measure at the store. I still have the bag and it still works even if I did growWow, 8"? Good tip though, thanks.

Not too sure if this has been posted before but I couldn’t find it; does anyone have the Evelyne TPM in the Amazone zig zag strap in the gold colour?! If you can post a pic or find one if it I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ve only seen the other colours (there are 5 in total, correct me if I’m wrong) but I can’t seem to find the gold one?!
By the way, is this style really hard to come by (in any colour way)? Will Hermes be releasing new colours in the Amazone zig zag strap?

Here is the original post from the look book with a small image of the gold with zig zag strap.
