The bag hangs so nicely on you, how tall are you? I am 5’4 and was afraid of Unadjustable strap making bag hang too long on me. Thanks as I have to order online.

I’m 5’0 and feel the TPM hangs a tad too low for my liking cross body when I tried it on. I felt the same about my PM. I took it in and my SA sent my PM to get the strap shortened.

Story time! (Long story)

I’ve been lusting after the Evelyne bag for maybe 4 years. I had my heart set on red and was so close to purchasing a rouge tomate back in 2016. I wanted to think about it bc I wasn’t 100% certain on the shade and when I went back to get it, it was gone. 2 years later the bag still hasn’t been available when I visit the store. Neither the tomate nor the casaque which is what I really wanted.

I had to come to DC today and my 7.5 hour drive turned to 9.5 hours thanks to traffic. After I got settled in my room I discovered my hotel is right by the Hermès store. Of course you know I had to pop in and ask for the PM and of course, they didn’t have red. However, the associate was very helpful and said she had something else I might be interested in. She came back with an etoupe PM and rouge casaque TPM. I always thought the TPM was far too small to be worth it and didn’t understand the point of such a small bag but when I put my items in, I fell in love. (I’m sure the fact that I was switching from a Chanel jumbo to a TPM helped sell me bc I loved how light and easy the bag was.)

Anywhoo... I asked the associate to hold it for me while I grabbed a bite to eat. I was quickly obsessed and couldn’t stop thinking about it so now, I am ecstatic to say that I finally got my first Hermès bag! The SA even through in a few perfume samples. I’m headed home tomorrow and then to New Orleans for a 3-day music fest and my TMP will be the perfect bag for the trip.

I’m going to wait and unbox her when I get home but here I am trying her on in the store. The left pic is today and the right is from a year (and a few pounds) ago when I was headed to another fest, hence the t-shirt. Staring at this side-by-side helped me realize the TPM is perfect for me... and I need to wear more dresses and less graphic tees lol

Sorry for the long story. I’m excited and none of my friends would understand!!

Thank you all!! @pjhm I’m 5’2” and I was worried it would be too long but it turns out that the length is perfect for me. As someone else mentioned you can get it shortened if need be but I think at 5’4” you might be fine. Good luck and please share if you decide to get one!

I’m just shy of 5’4” and I feel like the length of the bag strap is just right for me.

Congratulations on your new little gem. The TPM is absolutely one of my favorite Hermes bags. I hope you enjoy using yours!

This question is for the ladies/gents who own a TPM for awhile. Anyone have it in the Epsom leather? I am considering purchasing one and can't decide on the leather. My thinking is that the Epsom might stay structured longer but I've seen some pics on eBay of people selling their Epsom TPM's and they are all scratched up on the corners and seem to have been beat up.

Do you think it's the leather or the way the bags were treated? I can't understand how the corners could get all scratched up on such a small bag that's worn mostly crossbody?

Any feedback on the leathers would be appreciated. TIA!

Hello! Recent Evie-convert reporting to the club

Looking at the Samorga insert for my Evie PM. Those of you who have it, can you tell me if it makes the Evie very structured? I love how floppy it is and I like to stuff a scarf/wrap in, which puffs it up a bit. Will using the insert hinder this? The stock pics on Samorga look a little stiff.

I'd actually prefer not using an insert but I read about someone commenting on colour transfer to light-coloured SLGs in a black Evie. I currently find it tricky locating my black SLGs in my black Evie, so I'm going to get a set of light ones.

TIA for any input!

ps. Would a Fourbi work better as it's softer?
