I have ordered an Evie in Brighton Blue .... love this colour. But doubts are creepin in. Here's my dilemma ... I'm a Baby Boomer! Is this a bag a 70 year old can (should?) wear? I do not feel 'old' in the least, but trying to think 5-10 years down the road. Would a neutral be better?
My blue Zanzibar Evelyne makes my happy having a pop of color and I get compliments - I think if you like it and it makes you happy your happiness is most important and it is a super comfortable bag to boot.

That's a very good question-as I've pondered the same thing. I'm a young looking baby boomer, (at least that's what I'm told) but feel the Evie is more for a teenager and that I'd look silly carrying it. Then again, the Garden party in the larger size looks quite matronly on me but nearly as bad as a Kelly or Birkin--they age folks over 50, in my opinion---so let's see a modeling shot of a new Evie and then decide!

hard to take a great pic. I think the bag in question is vibrato which is a bit different design than this. I have three Evelynes with inside pockets. View attachment 4002730

I have the same bag GOLD Evie pm as you but without the pockets.. I would of loved to have it with pockets inside!!! Love yours [emoji7] may I ask what years were the Evies with pockets inside? Thank you in advance!

Sorry for the 101 questions. What are your opinions on togo vs clemence? I've seen lots of preloved togo evelynes for sale at appealing prices. Not taking money into considerable, would you rather buy preloved togo or clemence? Thanks.

Wear what you love! All the Pinterest photos of celebrities with evies are in their late 30s and 40s. None of the teenagers. I think it’s a convenient, casual bag with beautiful leather. Appropriate for any age.

That's my worry ... is it too young for the Boomer? Are there mod shots of Boomers rocking the Evie?

I can't decide between 29 & 33. Which is your preferred size? I've seen a 29 and its a nice size but I think 33 may suit me better (although not seen 1 and there aren't any in the stores I'm London). I'm 5ft3 and slim build so would the 33 be too large for me? I would use it as an everyday bag but I have young children so would like the option to be able to carry some of their stuff in the bag. The SA will call me when she gets stock but I think she is just on the lookout for a 29. Appreciate your opinions.

NBS in London definitely has 33s in stock today. It’s the sellier style though. If that’s what you are after, they have both vache hunter & Epsom. Was just offered black, gold & blue. CP also had them in that size and leathers 2 weeks ago.

Buy the color that makes you happy now. So when you grab your bag to head out of the house you see it and say "Yay!" Worry about 5-10 years down the road, 5-10 years down the road. Your tastes at age 75 or 80 may change completely, but that's an exciting prospect. If they do, you can sell your bag at that time and buy something new.

I was there yesterday and was offered the same but am not a fan of the sellier. Thank you.

Oh..that is a tricky question! I would say yes only because I'm obsessed with this bag and if I had some extra $$$ lying around I would get a 2nd one in black or navy. You can always go take a look and see if the colors are different enough for you. Good luck!
I wnded up getting it bc my sa also had the new leather replacement straps really for the kelly and it looks great on it!
