I can’t seem to find the maximum strap length of the newest GM. I’m thinking of getting my first but strap length is a deal breaker for me. I’m y’all and large and busty... most straps don’t work. Does anyone have the measurement? Thanks!

I’m 5’6 and had the strap of my GM shortened by 8 inches — it’s really long!

At Hermès. My SA sent it out as a repair (even though it wasn’t broken). I’ve heard from others on this forum that some SAs/stores have refused to do it, so I wonder if sending it as a repair was a trick my SA knew to get them to do it. It took about 8 weeks and they charged me $80. It was worth it to me to have an H craftsperson do it. You’d never know it was altered.

Ready to take the plunge on an Evie...but keep changing my mind about the color: etoupe or bleu nuit?! My winter coats are all black, I generally wear jeans or black pants, my summer tops are mostly white or grey. Live in NYC. Thoughts??

Oh, my dilemma exactly! I’ve looked at lots of pics online and have decided on the blue nuit- I wear jeans, blues, khaki and light colours and am not keen on the contrast stitching on the etoupe. Both colours are great neutrals, though, not sure you can go wrong, really!

Hi
I had a similar dilemma! Was debating between black, gold and etoupe. I thought black was best---but really gold just looked best on me with my coloring and all. So I ended up going with the gold. I also loved the contrast stitching--which the black didn't have. The contrast stitching really changes the feel of the bag.

You sound like me! I want an etain one since the color seems so versatile. Ever think of etain?
