The one on the right is a silk twill but it is the same CW as one of the shawls in that pattern. The one on the left is a shawl. So TT, is the one on the right a shawl? I'm loving the colors....

As promised , here is a group picture of my CS GM family. 41 members by now .... I am surprised by a high number of red shawls as red is really not my fav color![]()
I am definitely an impulse buyer and it needs to changeAny advice/suggestions about next directions will be welcomed

Gorgeous, Hermesick, what a beautiful collection!! Swooning here.....I would never say that you shouldn't have more cashmere. You have made beautiful choices, with shawls for every season. Why should you change anything? Well done!!
Here are a couple of tactics I've used, if you are in the mood..It's most helpful to know what's most important to you. It might be having a large selection to chose from and in that case you're on the right track.
Someone else might want a very condensed, effective, frequently worn collection or a third person might just buy every shawl in a particular color or from a certain designer that they can get their hands on. It doesn't matter what your criteria are as long as you end up with what you want.
Love: Once the shawls are all out on the bed make an instant pile of those that you love - don't think about, just grab your most favorite shawls as quickly as possible. Then select the second faves, and you'll be left with those that don't move you instantly. Think about why you have that last group. Perhaps they were bought to go with an outfit or color that you don't use frequently, perhaps you saw it on someone else and it appealed, there are a million reasons why but the important part is to identify those that you do really 'have to have' and figure out why. Color, pattern? And what about each factor is crucial for you - for pattern, do you like geometric patterns, those with a retro feel, those with a scene or ones that tell a story, or possibly the most modern designs? Do you like colors that are an accent, like a great lip color, or do you prefer colors that blend in to those in your wardrobe? Some of both no doubt.Maybe the red shawls hint at a move to more red in your life, or the opposite if you enjoy wearing red with neutrals? Take pics of the shawl groups.
Use:
Make another set of piles of shawls - the first one being those that you wear all the time. Then the once in a while shawls, and then the never/rarely ever worn ones. Again, try to figure out the common elements in each group - are they colors you love, color combinations that you enjoy, patterns you love, shawls that go best with your wardrobe or for certain occasions, shawls that you're saving for something special? Do you need clothing to go with an unworn shawl, is that why it isn't getting out? Take pics and compare these groups with the ones above.
Photos:
Try each one on in front of the mirror and take a shot in the same light, same pose, same makeup on, wearing a subdued neutral that works well for you. Drape the shawl over your shoulders so you see as much of it as possible. Looking at the pictures afterwards you may see things more objectively than most of us can while looking into the mirror.Pay particular attention to the shawl color next to your skin and hair. I've taken pics with a different shawl on each shoulder to compare them. No matter how I'm saying 'I love that fuchsia______, the pale pink______ on the other shoulder looks so much better in the picture that I can't deny it. It's fun.
Ok, that's more than enough I'm sure! You don't need a manifesto, I just love thinking about these things.![]()
Thanks ! Same here Nico, I also wore some of my shawls only once and later I even forgot about them ...... so you are my partner in crime![]()
Does anyone have mod shots of the Rouge H/Fuchsia? Would really appreciate it if someone has one to upload..trying to decide between that cw or the grey and pink cw...![]()

Uh oh...I bought the mors remix in the pink/purple colorway that chin posted a while back, but this one I think that I might need. It's yellow/green and purple, no?
Wonderful, like Hermes Heaven!!!!
Your collection includes the most wonderful Hermes Shawls designed within the last years!!!!
I think you might concentrate on some neutrals this season!!!!! Maybe Pastels!!! There are some so turn up!!!!
Great Collection!!
Hermesick, you have a fine-tuned and beautifully varied collection. I still love your Tendresse Feline with the chartreuse inside.
Pierina, wonderful advice indeed. Sometimes, I have also grown to love scarves/shawls.
MrSchmidtsWife, you look great in MetGR. Love your sunglasses, too.
What a fantastic collection! You have such diversity in color and pattern. I, on the other hand, tend to buy similar designs and colors. I wish I had your eye!
Happy to share BritAbroad, thank you !Oh my, Hermesick, what a bounty!! I couldn't possibly add to pierina's advice, she spot on, but thank you so much for sharing, these shots are a joy to look at![]()
CocoB---photos of your mors remix in pink/purple please!!!!
Of course - I'm at work, and I only have one, but I'd be happy to take more if you'd like. I can't decide if I'm going to keep it, especially if there's a green/purple.
Mod shots please!! I am desperately trying to determine if there is a cw that will work for me. TIA!Of course - I'm at work, and I only have one, but I'd be happy to take more if you'd like. I can't decide if I'm going to keep it, especially if there's a green/purple.
Dropping in for a moment to post photos of my Mors Remix.
I finally had a chance to play with it!![]()
I also posted these in the SS14 thread, but wanted to share with cashmere fans, too!
This being my first CSGM, I'm a bit afraid of hurting it! :wondering
Please share your tips, on preventing mishaps with them!
