Very useful remarks, pierina2! I will use your tactics to learn more about my scarves. Now that I've about 60, I need to be VERY selective about what I will get in future!:smile1:

Thank you, D Lee, you have a beautiful collection, especially your mousselines. :smile1:

This is great advice thank you for taking the time to write it. I copied it and sent it to myself in an email. I am going to follow it not only for my scarves and shawls but also for my clothing which I have way too much of.

Thanks Meg, hope it helps. Though sometimes you just have to try things to see what you really want for the long term. 'Necessary" research, you know. :graucho:

Pierina, this is excellent ! These are not just tactics - it's a well-thought-out strategy ! I am so impressed! Thank you so much, this is such a helpful and valuable insight ! Honestly, I needed it and I will be able to make better choices in the future.

It's so difficult to choose when your heart (love factor) and your brain (usage) are involved at the same time, isn't it ? (isn't it the same dilemma with men LOL ?).

Anyway, I love the way you manage to navigate through all these options and make in the end the right decision ! Thanks for taking the time to write it down :) I am sure it's a great advice not only for me but for all ladies here :)

PS. You should write a book - it would be a bestseller !

Dear Hermesick, thank you and that is it exactly - the choice between lust and reason. At least the wrong shawl is easier to handle! ;)
The trouble is that H items are so beautiful and so very appealing. But some of them just aren't beautiful on me and those I should simply admire, and not buy. :smile1:

Pierena2, thank you for posting this. I've been struggling with some of my 90's and this approach will help me 'find my way'.

And yes, Hermesick, your GM collection is beautiful ... there are a number of my HGs present.

Good luck, Setherwood, and I hope it's an enjoyable solution process.

Thank you for taking the time to write and share your thought on this, pierina, it should be a 'sticky' it's so poignant and helpful!

BritAbroad, so nice of you to say that. Hard experience is speaking here!

Wearing my new MetGR :). I've had so many compliments on her!

No wonder -you look fabulous in your new shawl, congratulations!!

Hermesick, you have a fine-tuned and beautifully varied collection. I still love your Tendresse Feline with the chartreuse inside.

Pierina, wonderful advice indeed. Sometimes, I have also grown to love scarves/shawls.

MrSchmidtsWife, you look great in MetGR. Love your sunglasses, too.
