My first Hermes bag. Got it from HK after two month purchase with my SA.
Members with mini bolide, please advise, how do you attach the shoulder strap so that the pointed ends of the hooks do not face the handles and rub against the handles or face the bag and cause a dent? Is there a sideway place for the pointers part of the hook?

Does anyone know why the Bolide 31 is not listed here?
Has anyone bought a brand new Bolide 31 at Hermes in 2022 or 2023?
The bolide 31 is made still but on the other model not the bolide 1923. I was offered two this year, one in my hometown and one in Paris. Just the colours didn’t work for me. The one they don’t make anymore is the 35, that’s what I was told by my SA and in Paris.
Glad the Bolide 31 is still being made.
Are you saying (the other model) the Bolide 1923 is discontinued, as well as the Bolide 35?

There is a Bolide 30 in the 1923 model. The mini Bolide is also a 1923 style.
My understanding is the Bolide 35 is "rested" but not discontinued. As bigger bags continue to come back in fashion, would not be surprised to see its return.
The strap rings on mine are placed pretty high, so that the hooks don't touch the bag..both my mini Bolides are the same this way.
Question to all Bolide lovers:
Do you 1) tie the keys and lock on the clouchette leather strap like a purse charm? or 2) the lock on the side and keys in clochette hang from handle, or 3) may be naked without them? Thanks.

Always naked for me thus far.
The lock, like any Hermes lock, can make a smiley mark on the leather so unless one likes this look, best not to hang locks from the loop.
Personally for me the Bolide shape is beautiful without adornment, but if I were to hang something it would be the clochette/keys without the lock, same as I do with Kellys etc.
I do hang the lock on the side and the clochette and keys from the handle. I love the look of my Bolide 31 with the clochette. So chic!
At the same time, I am afraid of black marks on the leather from the lock, so I clean the lock very often because I think the black marks are due to hardware tarnish.
Thank you! I will try removing the twillies on both handles. I have one in nata and I am super paranoid about getting stains on the handles.
