Ode to the bolide

My Surface computer (A4-size) fits in my Bolide 35, and it zips closed. It takes a little finessing but is defined possible. And I like the fact that it closes when I use it for work.

Other than Bolide 35 I would recommend a Plume 32 for a work bag

I just got mine and it all fit!! Thank you so much for your post. I was able to fit the MacBook Pro standing upright, the Remarkable, a giant charger (I’ll get a smaller one), my cords, phone, and keys. That’s all I carry, so this is perfect.

Can anyone with a 27 and 25 comment on which they prefer? I've only seen one video comparing them and they look so similar in size. Does a 25 hold more/less than a 27? Is it more comfortable overall or have new features? From the video and pictures it looks like the zipper opens wider and the handles are thicker?

I have an epsom 27 and evercolor 25. They hold the same amount imo. I prefer my 25 mainly because of the leather. For crossbody wear, I use an evelyne tpm strap and because the handles of the 25 are shorter, the bag lays better against the body and the handles are not poking me (vs with the 27 with the longer handles). HTH!

Hi. I’m 5ft4in and it’s too short for me. The leather strap (not including the hooks) measures approximately 86cm and from hook to hook approximately 94.5cm.

Was offered a Bolide 1923 25 en desordre but turned it down.. not sure if it’s a coveted bag or not but unfortunately the Bolide just doesn’t suit my body frame no matter how much I love it on others :/

Definitely too short for crossbody, and the handles are so long they can hit right under your chest. The strap comes off though and you can add one of any length.

I think it's like the Kelly strap then. I have a Kelly Sellier 28, the strap is too short to crossbody - it could work but the handle just hit the chest.

New to me peau de porc from Japan. It’s in great condition with a few marks from the metal but I am absolutely ecstatic.

I’ve also asked my SA for a 31 for next year as it’s the 100th year of the Bolide but I’m still waiting for that. I’d love an Orange with PHW!
