It’s beautiful on you- you carry it perfectly - what’s not to love about a bolide? If the color is right for you , there’s your answer. If not, that’s also an answer ( looks like gold Clemence a real neutral, but looks a bit more yellow in the 2nd photo)
Been waiting and hoping this was ordered by my boutique. Obviously my SA knew it would come and did not tell me as she wasn‘t sure it would arrive when she‘d be at work (only works 2 days per week) and did not want to risk missing out and disappointing me. When I saw this year‘s Raisin I knew I had to get a Birkin as well as a small Bolide. Have fallen hard for this colour.
I like it on you. Is this Jaune Ambre or Gold as noted by nymeria? I wear my Bolides more than my B and Ks, but type of use, wardrobe, preferred colours, space needed etc play a major role in such a decision so I cannot comment in that regard. All I can tell you is that a Bolide 31 is a very useful, classic and versatile everyday bag. It will slouch a little in Clémence which is a look one must like. If the colour is yellow, it will look good as a contrast with blue, black, grey...but you might tire of it especially when it is your first (but will depend on what other bags and colours you already own).
If it makes your heart sing, go for it. If you are not 100% certain, rather wait a little. Patience usually pays off with Hermès.
Whether or not the color works with your current wardrobe is something only you can decide. Size (looks like a 31?) looks good on you. I do wonder why there is so much slouch in a brand new bag? It looks like Clemence and I have an 11 year old Clemence bolide 31 that doesn’t have that much slouch.
Just joined the bolide club - what an understated, elegant bag! I never considered the style and was actually shopping to get another Halzan when I saw my bolide sitting right next to it in the case and the bolide just appeared so modern and sleek comparatively (mind you, my Halzan is still my fave Hermes of my rapidly growing collection). She’s tucked in my car trunk at the moment but can’t wait to share pics!
Had several house guests last night so I didn’t get a chance to take her out until this morning but here she is: Gris asphalt 1923. I really adore the ghw!

Novillo - being a newbie Hermes fan I found the novillo thread and read it through with gusto. I really do love the leather and this rigid style. My sa showed me the epsom version of the bolide 31 and I much prefer the softer hand of this leather. I like the mou look as well but I reminds me too much of my Balenciaga bags (previous obsession).

My first Bolide is an orange Clemence 31 which I love and have gotten great use out of over the years. Well I finally pulled the trigger on my second bolide 31 today.

Oohh I just love your bag, it's gorgeous!! Is this orange or potiron or a different color? I'm currently looking for a clemence Bolide and loving the orange, but I worry it may be too bright if it's the kind of popping orange similar to the Hermes boxes. The orange of your Bolide looks heavenly to me!
