thanks ninjasue! I'm quite decided in getting a red birkin as my next bag but torn between a 30 or 25.. now i'm so decided on the 25 in chevre! now i just need to decide on which red i should get? any suggestions? I've nixed rouge h as it looks on the maroon side.. been looking at the reference library and can't seem to tell the difference between rouge vif, garrance and vermillion.. they all look different because of flash i suppose... any thoughts?

Without tax.

With regard to reds, it depends on the leather. But, in general, rouge vif is a true lipstick red (with blue undertones) and vermillion is more of a tomato red (with orange undertones).

I have one 25cm sellier Kelly (vermillion chevre) and, while I love it, I don't use it on a daily basis the way I use my baby Birkins. While I prefer the look of the 25cm Kelly, the 25cm Birkin holds more and is easier to use when left open.

Here is the 25cm Kelly:

For my lifestyle, the Birkin just works better. But, I do love them both! It really is just a matter of personal preference. Which do you prefer?

^^^^The sad reality is I don't know....It's soooo confusing. I like the Kelly because of the hands free option. I could also use it as a dressy bag or an everyday bag. The Birkin is nice as a dressy or casual bag. I'm glad that you stated that more stuff can fit into the Birkin. Too many options....Too much stimulation...

Coleigh, if you can only have one of the 25cms, I would go for the baby b..they are a little more versatile as they can really go down the casual lane in a BIG BIG way. I use mine on the weekends, wearing shorts and a linen top/hoodie thing. Looks great. I also use it with dresses. The only time I don't use my 25cm birkin is when I am wearing a suit. The 25cm kelly can be dressed down too, but IMHO, not as much as the baby b.
