Ranag and Kelly Birkin, thank you!! I knew I wanted something in the pink/purple family...kept thinking it was fuschia since everyone here loved fuschia. I finally got to try a fuschia bag on and it was NOT me. So that made it a lot easier to focus on the purples. Cyclamen is a great color for a little bag...

Please don't shoot me for this comparison, but this kind of reminds me of the Mulberry Bayswater-Ledbury thing: most people have the larger bayswater and few have the less popular smaller Ledbury. But I prefer the ledbury and the 25 'baby' birkin over their larger versions! I think someone over at the mulberry section said the ledbury was like a typical 'ladies-that-lunch' bag; I think the 25 birkin is too! it's sooooo chic, much more sophisticated than the large birkin
