Hi Ladies! I've quoted you because from reading this thread (and some of these posts) I know that you can arm carry the 25.

My question to you (and anyone else that wants to chime in) is how difficult is it to get your hand through the handle opening???

For example, I've tried the round style enamels and struggled to scrunch my hand through the opening. For this reason, so far my one and only enamel is a charniere.

I've totally fallen for hoping to add a black B. Just trying to decide whether to go 25 or 30. My other bags are B30 etoupe, K28 RC and mini-Roulis black.

Thanks for your help!

I use my 25s alot, both on the arm and by hand. I wear a big watch and cdcs - once the handle is past your accessories there is no problem at all. But absolutely yes the 30 is more user friendly and fuss free if you only want to arm carry the bag. However the 25 is a v different look from the 30 which i love, the extra fuss is definitely worth it. :flowers: Good luck deciding!

I agree with periogirl28 and gnippohs. I don't have issues with the handle either even with my coats and furs. I do have small wrists though.

I have no issues as my hands and arms fit the 25B handles fine. I wear a Cartier size 15 in both the LOVE cuff and the Juste un Clou and need the smallest sizes for all Hermes bracelets and bangles. If you find the 25 a little too small then I think the 30 would be better.

Thank you ladies! I'm fearing that my hand size might make this bag a bit of a pain to carry other than handheld for me.

It's very helpful that you've shared your wrist sizes. Thank you!

Thank you, IF. This is extremely helpful! I really appreciate your insight.

Happy New Year!
Also, although I am not a large person (I wear a US size 2/4) I could only arm carry the B25 on my forearm... not in the crook. If I had to grab something with the same hand that the bag was on, it dangled in mid air very awkwardly. It did not rest in a comfortable spot for me if I needed to use that hand. I grew tired of that fuss also. After about 4 wears, I was over it. That was also the same time that I acquired my first Constance 24. Once I got that, the B25 was never used again. As I stated before the B25.. size wise is amazing. Yes the Constance is a bit smaller but it worked for my minimal stuff. Sooooo if you're goal is to downsize, I HIGHLY recommend the Constance if you have never tried it.... HIGHLY.

So we went on a trip for 12 days and I pulled out my B30 for travel....been really using B25 or K28 or even my Constance wallet for the past year. Couldn't wait to get home and put the B30 away. Too big and too heavy! But understand I wanted a 25 for many years before I got my first. I always knew it would be perfect for me. B30 is just going to have to be for travel only....or maybe in 20 years if I ever have grandchildren!

I love that you wear your 25cm daily. My DH and DS surprised me with a little gem recently and I can not stop using it! I rarely use my 30cm due to weight and size, so I am thrilled to find a size I can use daily!

LOL, IF, I meant if I ever need to carry a lot of stuff again! But good point, I have no one to inherit my bags. Not to play into gender stereotypes but I don't see either DS going for it.

It's a fabulous size!!! Congrats and enjoy!

I agree that it depends on your wrist/arm size and whether you wear a bulky bracelet or watch. I have 5.5 inch wrists and can actually wear the B25 on my shoulder (only barely, and as a joke) and easily in the crook of my arm, but it becomes difficult when wearing a bulky bracelet because I don’t want to scratch the leather.
I think a huge reason I prefer the B25 is that it is much more discrete and understated than a B30 in the same specs due to the more average size for a handbag.

Unfortunately I sold mine dear for that exact reason. As much as I loved her... and I loved her A LOT... she was too fussy with that small drop. I ended up hand carrying all the time and that gets old.... FAST. I loved the size of the bag itself though. I would only consider K25 now because the drop is a lot bigger.

I seem to be in the minority on this thread tho hahahahah For Birkin, I'm strictly 30.

ITA with Israeli, if the handle drop was a tiny bit bigger the B25 might be the perfect bag cuz I otherwise love the size. Similarly to GNIPPOHS, I can get the bag over my watch and bangles with some maneuvering, but it sits awkwardly on my forearm just above the wrist, so maybe a 1/3-1/2 of the way up. If it could go up further closer to the crook it would be a lot more comfortable. My wrist size is 6.25" and I wear 7.25" bracelets btw.
