Dear Costa,
The exact name is Graphite.
I have a Birkin 35 in Etoupe (which actually rarely looks grey but more a dark kaki depending on the light).
Any advices are welcome as I still do not know if I should go for the Swift or for the sellier. My worry is I'm just 30, would the swift not look to "vintage" but in a bad way? I want someting chic and that will keep its form.
Thanks!
Graphite is a great colour. A good neutral colour.
I have not seen Graphite swift, so I cannot comment on the color in this leather.
I do like Swift in bright colours. There is a richness and intensity in the way colours show up on Swift. It's a good leather if one likes their bags in a smooth, non-grained leather with lesser shine than offered by Box or Tadelakt.
If you prefer bags which are more rigid, then a Swift bag may not meet that criteria. Swift is similar to Clemence with the softness and more pliable leather.
A Kelly Sellier is a structured bag. Its like a Grand Duchess of bags ... elegant and stately. Selliers come in Box, Chamonix, Chèvre, Epsom and Togo (which seem extremely rare these days).
