Ok, this lovely piece just arrived and with the expert assistance of our dear Plumtree I managed to put it on. Am surprised, however, that so little of the "belt" extends from the holder. Any thoughts on that?

This particular buckle sellier (spelling) bracelet seems to have been designed so that the prong is intended to go into the first belt hole, not necessarily the second. Can you get it to fit in the first one? If you got a jeweler to make a curb chain link--one or two would suffice--then the belt buckle would extend more. Of course H might be able to provide a link, but a silver jeweler would have no problem casting a link from one of those already on the bracelet, and then soldering the whole shebang together.

This is the bracelet I am looking for! Will Hermes make it larger as a SO?
Now i do not think it will fit me at all, I may need to get the large thick one. Ot does look so nice on you.

Chefcat, this looks gorgeous on you! I love the gleam of the silver. I agree that if you could fit the prong into the first hole, this would make more of the "belt" poke out through the buckle. But regardless, it's lovely.
sjunky, H now make boucle sellier in chunkier options. I have a very chunky one that I posted a pic of earlier in this thread but there may also be options in between? Do check with the boutique and let us know what you find!
Edit: my pic of my chunky boucle sellier is in post 789. HTH!

Gorgeous! How long is it? I need length here, lI have larger wrists. I wear 70 in enamels and large in cdc's TY. love this pic too! :)

Well, I can't wear enamels (can't fit them over my big hands!) and I can wear a large CDC on the smallest hole. The boucle sellier unshortened still slid down my hand half way to the knuckle. After cutting one link off (which I now use as a pendant), it looks much better. I don't have access to my photos for now, but I'll take pics and do measurements later!

This is a really nice bracelet to wear and is one of those pieces that makes a statement by itself.

Thanks for the details. I can get the enamels on very easy. I have small hands, but my wrists are large since i gained weight. My love bracelet I can on and off no problem, small hands.

I wish the larger ones were narrow, but yes looks best all alone. I guess there is hope for me.

BTW, I dislike silver, but after this thread am loving H silver. It seems like it will not tarnish and is of great quality.
I only like yellow gold, but am craving this bracelet and a necklace :)

Meteore bracelet, with matte geranium gator CDC. The meteore is a great bracelet: it stacks well but equally looks striking on its own.

I think I must have an older Boucle Sellier in maybe a GM size? Mine is 21.6cm end-to-end and it fits loosely even on the second hole.
Sjunky, my thick Boucle Sellier is 23cm end-to-end.

A comparison of my big Boucle and skinny Boucle.

I have that same big Boucle Sellier, I think it's called the TGM Boucle Sellier.

It's a bracelet that has recently received some editorial attention. I think it waas the November Paris Vogue that repeatedly showed a model wearing it but with different outfits.

Interesting comparison, Plumtree, to put the "bebe" BS next to "Poppa" BS.
