Hi Ladies! Loving the silver!! I have the SS CDC and SS Kelly Dog, and also the large meteore ring. Not the huge one but it is large. In an case my SA was kind enough to locate a SA Kelly Dog ring. Have any of you seen this and do you love it? My hesitation is I am a bit in between a size 51 and 52. The 51 in a hot climate probably won't work and I may be best going with the size 52 considering I can't really stand tight rings. Decisions decisions. Any thoughts or advise would be greatly appreciated. :smile1::smile1:

You should go for size 52. FYI there some some kelly do rings on the european Hermes online.

If the ring is wider than the typical wedding band, then go with the larger size. It'll fit a bit more snugly than a thin ring of the same size.

Ms Piggy, you'd love the necklace. Here's a mod shot. I love the equestrian motif (I think it's a modified french link loose ring snaffle bit) and the chain is nice and chunky too and has a satifying feel.

This snaffle bit necklace is amazing, plumtree. I have never seen it before. Looks terrific on you. Did you get it recently (which is to ask whether it is likely to be in production) and, if you don't mind, what was the price?

I have been in that size dilemma. Here's some considerations: Hot climate = fingers swell. However, a heavy ring may twist if not snug. For example, the initial ring is chunky and fits more comfortably when it is snugly on the finger.

Large size ring--a 52 compared with a 51-- may have a tendency to slide off finger when hands are washed and dried.

A long ring like the espionne, which is like a tiny tube, is uncomfortable in a hot climate when the ring is snug. A short ring, like a band, more easily worn and can be a smaller size (IMHO) b/c it has minimal contact with the skin compared with a long ring. In fact, it may be possible for you to wear a snug band ring by wetting your finger when putting the ring on or removing it.

I wonder if anyone got the giant meteore ring, the golf ball sized-ring? How do they like it and do they wear other rings on the same hand at the same time as the meteore ring?

Sorry for the late reply: I was travelling. I got it this year (saw it on one of the mannequins), but my SA told me it was a previous season's piece that was being used to dress the mannequins! I can't remember the price off the top of my head but it was in the high USD2k to USD3k range. HTH!

Love this thread.

Just wanted to share a couple of recent acquisitions. The first is a Croisette bracelet which is half solid and half chain. The second is a chaine d'ancre from the men's collection of weathered silver with a gold closure ring. I had to get it shortened but thought it's quite unique!

I love these bracelets, Plumtree! You mentioned that you got the Chaine d'Ancre bracelet shortened, was this by Hermes? If so, how long did it take?

Thank you!

Does anyone know - are there two versions of the Espionne ring? There is one on H.com US now - but it looks different from the original one I know of.

Torsade bracelet

HN, this photo made me search for this bracelet (plus one of the "spy" shots on the wildlife thread). I finally got the GIANt torsade. It is amazing.
