Beautiful, I've loved this bracelet since first released! The whole Galop line is gorgeous, so glad they've kept producing it. I've dithered on which size fits me best, I really need to decide before they (inevitably?) discontinue it!
Thank you! I was similar, I tried the larger size first and it looked nice I was quite decided on it but then I tried the small size and it looked so much better and was so much more comfortable to wear …

I have had this bracelet for years. It's cool to wear in hot weather. Good air circulation. I mainly wear it in summer.. There's another one that's very similar to th
Finally got the silver CDC pm bracelet. I wear this everyday and I regret not buying it earlier!
Lovely on you.

Beautiful haul! I've been contemplating about purchasing the Farandole necklace for a while. Only thing is I've heard from a SA that the silver will lose color over time, but never confirmed or got a second opinion. Did you hear anything about this potential discoloring?
It’s super easy to polish Hermes’ sterling silver, rub some toothpaste over them with your hands, leave it for a few minutes and rinse off. No polishing cloth nor solution required. I’ve been doing that for my Chain d’Ancre Enchainee bracelet and Chain d’Ancre Game necklace for years. Love Hermes silver jewelry over Tiffany’s. I gave away Tiffany silver as the tarnish is bad, beyond polishing.

Great tip! Is the toothpaste the regular paste kind or the gel version or does it matter?

How much and fast the jewelry tarnishes depends on the design. My regular chaîne d’ancre pieces barely tarnish. It’s the designs with grooves and that are more intricate like the parade and 24 that in my experience tarnish the fastest. I use the polishing clothes that Tiffany gives as I find them better than the Hermes ones. Though, you can go to any Hermes store, and they’ll dip the piece in a solution that makes it look as good as new. It takes only a few minutes.

I didn't know that Hermes had polishing cloths. I was never given it with any of my silver jewelry pieces, even the Farandole necklace which was my last purchase. Thanks for letting us know about the solution.

Dear all,
I have a question for all the Chaîne d'Ancre lovers: do you happen to know if Hermes ever released the TPM size of the Chaîne d'ancre collier? I know the bracelet exists in the TPM size but never saw the same measure for the collier...
TYA!

Keep in mind that some toothpastes are abrasive. Hermes silver is not typically darkened to bring out the design. H silver IMO tends to be about significant eye-catching shapes and links as well as retaining the anchor motif as much as possible. Silver artists who focus on a picture of an animal, a landscape, a zodiac sign, etc. will often chemically highlight recessed areas in a design. The end result is that the high or protruding parts of a design will be brighter than the rest and this gives the design a 3 dimensional quality, the darkening (sometimes called oxidizing) puts the design in relief.

Brushing with toothpaste is going to remove the oxidization. I know. I did it accidentally when I first developed an interest in silver. A jeweler can restore it, however, but why incur the cost?

One day H may oxidize its designs. Maybe they have in the past and I just don't know about it.
