Looks gorgeous on you!
One way I wear mine is to unhook it and then wrap it twice around my neck- I re-hook the chain (NOT the circle) through the larger pin. It lies well, and you can adjust it to place the pins wherever you want. Not quite choker on me- it is a perfect necklace length- but I'm small, so see if it works for you. This works better on me than a longer necklace for work, and lets me wear it often.
Plus I love your fancy box- when I got mine a few years ago, my SA and I where lucky to find medium size square jewelry box!! :flowers:
@nymeria, @duggi84, I would love to see how this is done in an action shot pls!

OK, here you go! I am NOT in either of your leagues (@880 duggi84) WRT photo taking, but embrace the opportunity to NOT do my work today, but instead play with the necklace
Just note that you place the chain through the safety pin, not the circle. Also, once you get it on, you can fuss to your heart's content and adjust it the way you want to wear it that day. My SA and I had such a good time playing with this and trying to figure out different ways to wear it and not strangle me in the process- we were laughing so hard, people were staring at us!! Have a blast and enjoy it!! :flowers:punk necklace long.jpgpunk halfway.jpgpunk necklace best wrapped.jpgpunk necklace wrapped not edit.jpg

Oh wow! How beautiful and Fabulous you look! I love this! I can imagine you hiking in this  Thank you so much for posting this pic!

@duggi84, @nymeria, can this necklace be worn

1. with your head in between/inside the double chain on the bottom and the two safety pins clipped together (essentially overlapping or layering the necklace)? Or

2.without the double strands and rings on the bottom? (Yes, I know it’s not what Pierre Hardy intended)

Not 100% sure I understand, BUT
1. You can certainly do that- its all a matter of balancing the weights of the larger v smaller safety pins with each other and the chain.
2. Honestly, not sure, as I don't know where the safety pins go at that point- but I may not be understanding you correctly.

My way just works for me ( I can do it in about 5 secs and I can vary it enough to make it different on different days ( although total transparency, I'm lazy and the way I showed is what I do 90% of the time!).

Today I introduced a friend to our SA…so excited for her foray in the world of Hermès! AND I picked up my Chain d’Ancre Punk Double Necklace. I’m in love, and the box it came in is epic!

Twins!!! Thank you for the tip! I was trying to figure out other creative ways to wear it last night (after a few drinks haha), and it didn’t occur to me to NOT use the rings! Brilliant!
I'm in love with that piece! It looks fabulous on you

@880 & @nymeria I moved our convo over here so as to not upset the moderators.

@nymeria I love how you're wearing it! It's a bit too tight on me as a complete double-wrap like that, but I did find a third way to wear it! A little complicated, but I actually pulled the double-strand section over my head to go around my neck, then wrapped the long chain around my neck and clipped the big safety pin to the back circle of the little one...I think as @880 was trying to imagine. The double-strand section btw is not removable.

Thanks for sharing. I have this necklace but never considered it had another way to wear. It looks very modern on you.

I am very fond of H classic (I call them that) from around 2010, the geant this and that. But I have hesitated to even try on the punk chains. But the picture above @duggi84 really makes the look interesting b/c the two pins together in a cluster is a little complex, unexpected.

Has anybody in this thread got the Response collection pieces? I don't know what to think of that one, either.

@880, I looked up the exact name of the collection and it is "Reponse." Tell me what you think of it.
Thank you! I looked it up. I think it’s a more classic lux biker chain look than the punk line. If I saw it on a visit to Hermes, I’d be interested if the toggle could possibly fit into one of the regular large links, so you could play with a lariat style. (I used to hate, loath lariat style necklaces (but the VCA liane thread changed my mind, so much so that when I see a chain necklace I’m like can it transform into either shorter overlapping ones or a lariat). I think I might prefer a discontinued H necklace called crescendo (not sure of the name) JMO though! If you get a reponse, I’d love to see an action pic!

A biker chain look. Geez, I dunno.

I had no idea this punk chain (right?) had such potential. WOW.
