This is so wonderful, thank you! Silks are not my focus and until recently I didn't realize that most (all?) have a story behind them. Have others done this? Lots of threads telling the stories behind the scarves would be amazing! Your scarf is beautiful Melora, thank you again.

Melora - I'm only gently teasing you.
I love how much passion you have for this scarf and its meaning to you. I am a piano player myself, so am vey much enjoying the organ lesson , which has a similar keyboard to the piano, but seems like it would be a whole different beast to play. Chincac - you have a stunning colorway! Have you not even worn it out yet? Looks like the tag is still on. It's time to take your baby out for a spin!

Yes, the piano and the organ share the keyboard, but the ressemblance ends there! I cannot pretend to be able to use a piano. I don't know what to do with the pedals, and it's so strange that the sound is so soft if you press lightly on the keys
I'm not done with the organ lesson, I have yet to talk about the stops, the keyboards, the pedals, the player...

As a geek, for instance, I'd love to see all keys identified in "les clés"
If that happens a lot, that might require a special subforum with one thread per scarf
