What a terrific knot, melora! Not only does the ladder appear, but all the lines pop out, in the same direction as the folds in the scarf. Magic!I tried a knot that would keep me warm and wouldn't get it the way.

Scarfies, I recently bought a gorgeous Point d'Orgue on eBay in the Prune/Aubergine/Rose cw (cw 1) - the same as ElainePG who posted such beautiful modeling photos here. I am so disappointed to find that this cw just doesn't work with my coloring
So, I am going to be selling it on to another scarf-lover via eBay shortly, and I wanted to let you folks know ahead of time. If anyone has been inspired by this thread to get one for themselves, pm me and maybe we can work this out to everyone's advantage.
As for me, I'm now on the hunt for a more favorable cw. Such a beautiful scarf!

Melora, I'm sorry I couldn't take a spy pic as the SAs were watching. I've seen two CWs (sorry, I don't have the number) - the other CW is like a light greyish ivory with pastel colors. The other CW really reminded me of the Malleries CW of the twill version. When I saw it, I thought ti myself I need to let Melora know! :santawave:
