Dear Litchi: I tried to take an image of 04 that would show the true gorgeous colors. I tried to late at night and then have been working 20 hours a day on my Mother's Estate Sale. I will try again during the day and also outside to see if I can capture it. I have yet to see a photo that does it justice. Still patiently waiting for 03 and 08. CW 13 arrived from Seattle today and I am waiting til a little later tonight to open it. Am going to try to obtain the red version of the Nathalie Zeta. May be too late. The red CW is morphing to orange on the website but I will give it a shot. Hope all is well with you.Never thought cw 05 would be perfect with denim, but you've shown us the light, VesperSparrow!

You are so nice to try for good photos, lynn. Maybe cw 04 is a chameleon that changes colour? I find some of my scarves do this, especially blue-grey ones.

This is the photo that marks the point at which I screamed "SOLD"!! I'm thrilled that my SA texted me last night to say she had one for me! She also told me that this is by far the most popular scarf design of this season, and clients are buying multiple cws.
When I picked up cw #5 today, I was immediately struck by how stiff the scarf is. I have a sizeable collection, and have never purchased one that feels this stiff. I'm hoping it will soften over time. I know washing it will help, but I don't want to wash it yet. Has anyone else experienced this with this--or other--cws of Samourais?
Congratulations on your cw 05! It's my favourite! It may be stiff from the saturation of colours. My cw 03 feels softer.

I thought it might be due to the color saturation...thanks litchi! I tried on cw #3 too, and it was gorgeous as well. If my bank account could take it, I would have walked away with another 1-2 cws!
I will repeat a little tidbit of information I got from my friend, department manager in Seattle. The reason for the stiffness and the difference in color between front and back is due to the complexity of the design. It uses 46 colors. Which means color is added 46 times. The normal scarves are 22 to 24. The wild popularity of this scarf is so tied to the complexity of the colors.
Dear Litchi: I have been in a daze working 20 hours days preparing for and executing the liquidation of the household of my beloved Mother. Fortunately went off very successfully this weekend. Came out of my daze and realized I was very close to losing opportunities to purchase a Zeta. Fortunately, when I reached out to Seattle, they still had one of the desired CW 11. Light blue border with red center. SA said lovely. It will be coming early next week and I am hoping to take true to color images as well as of the promised CW 4. They are still waiting to receive their CW 3 and CW 8 so I have a real good chance of completing my Samourais family. What effects the Saturation on the Samourais? It seems if all have the same number of colors that the stiffness would be the same on all. Am interested in learning about this.
