This is the hardest colorway to photograph that I have ever experienced... as the afternoon light waned all the purple came out like gangbusters...in daylight you get a balance of rich mauves, a sort of blueberry-slate blue, the green, and some blush pink all in a lovely melange...I'll take a few more photos tomorrow in full daylight...but I really love this scarf! I advise anyone curious to try it on, I can honestly say that this was the last scarf I would have considered before I tried it on, it is not my usual thing at all. But it is a mysteriously beautiful colour combination.
Beautiful!
It appears luminous and so do you while wearing it.
WOW

This is my first shawl purchase in the new year and realized that H changed their tag to a square one instead of the skinny rectangular size. I prefer the old one as it doesn’t stick out as much. What does everyone think ?

There were some discussions about the tag on the 18SS thread. Most dislike it. I confirmed with my SA recently if it was because of the new regulations in EU that the tags have to include the local language on it so they had to change the tag because I remember there was a huge problem with the shipment last season at my store, and that was the reason. He confirmed it is indeed why they have to change it to the current one.

Dear Ladybaga, I have seen how beautiful you look in that Into the Canadian Wild scarf in the mauve/green/pink colourway, and this one is right up your alley, same end of the spectrum...
Mercy me! I have gone crazy with buying this season! I am still on the hunt for the 140 silk Panther in Emerald Green.
If I buy another Samurai, I think I will be banned from my own house (hahaha!). I have 2 90 silks in Samurai and one shawl in 06. I think I have to stop with this design, even though every shawl has me weak in the knees. Thank you for your sweet complement on my Canadian Wild scarf. This past Saturday, I acquired another Canadian Wild in 07 (pink, orange and green.) You look so beautiful in your Samurai. I will admire yours!!!

It is gorgeous!! I love that cw as for tag - i dont love them. Have same on new JQ. Asked my SA what people are doing, whether they are cutting them off or leaving them on. She says people are leaving them on. Judging from her tone, she wasn’t crazy about them either

i've been carefully cutting my tags off. I feel like a scarf surgeon, and so far, I haven't had any slips.

This is so pretty! As for the tags, I have been carefully cutting all of mine off from this season. I have found that they hang below the scarf and shawl, which I don't like. It also limits the way I could wear them because it was too difficult to hide the tags. So far, I haven't cut through the hems.

Here's another one...View attachment 3993198This is more representative of the colours ....actually it’s somewhere between the very violet tones of the last set of pictures and this one...

Omg. This is crazy gorgeous. I might need this one, too. Damn H for misleading us with their misleading photos! This wasn’t on my radar at all!

Good lord, save me from the Samourais!

I take them off, generally and save them in an envelope in the box, in case I ever decide to sell them when penury o’ertakes me (as is likely, given to my lamentable addiction to Hermes scarves ) so the recipient can stitch them back on if they feel more authentic that way....

And I your beautiful blue 06, which also is a knockout , (and which I covet as well, dagnabbit!)your husband has a great eye! But I have been going over my collection which has expanded radically in the last couple of years, and I think there comes a time when one just has...to...sigh....slow down.

weN, thank you for the great pics! It is so gorgeous on you, congratulations!

View attachment 3993065 Everyone looks amazing in their lovely samurai scarves and shawls. My DH surprised me with 06 for Valentine’s Day. If I pair it with a royal blue top or dress, I think I can get away with the light greys in this shawl. I typically shy away from dove grey, but paired with a stronger color, it may work.
Congratulations, dear Ladybaga! It is very elegant on you!
