Hi La Femme fans!!

GraceKelly - thank you glad you like my plisse version - it comes in many cws too - I had a hard time choosing at FSH earlier this year!! Love your fuschia - that is the cw that has eluded me - I should have bought one when I saw it but now it's sold out congrats on yours:greengrin:

Papertiger - thank you too:flowers:

Victorialab - love your story and fab GM!

GK.......This is what amazes me the most...I think we should all do this occasionally...... the perfect pair of shoes...who knew? :wtf::faint:

I actually felt pretty dumb about it as I have had the jacket for quite a while and just made this discovery. My bad.

Can't explain about the light pink except that my coloring may be too pink and the scarf is pink and it was just too much pink all the way round. Perhaps I felt like I was looking like a pink cupcake at a kid's birthday party because of that and the lighter blue in the scarf. I usually do fine with pale pink. Must have been an off day.

Oh my goodness gracious me these are so absolutely fabulous in just the right way :ps:

I've posted this on the Ode to the GM shawls thread, but am posting it here as well.

I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for pictures of La Femme Aux Semelles De Vent GM in colorway 04 - noir/or/turquoise. My SA is holding one for me, but I may not be able to get to the store in the next couple of days; so I was wondering if anyone here has it? Any action shots would also be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for something soft/neutral, and am worried that these colors would be too bright. Many thanks!

Hi! The lovely Birkin Mary posted nice photos of all the colorways on page one of this thread. Just go to the first page and you will see them. I love the black/turquoise one; good luck!

Wow, I can't believe that I have missed this thread for so long. I, too, am a lover of La Femme - I have the twill in black/white and fuchsia and the GM in fuchsia. I so enjoyed reading that others love this pattern as much as I! And Victoriab, how wonderful that you took your GM on a trip around the world! It is gorgeous and you look wonderful wearing it in that photo at the winery - thanks for sharing it!! I'm going to give some thought to places I might take mine, though it will be nothing so exotic as NZ!!

Never mind - have done some more digging around and found the photos! This place really is a treasure trove.

I've just been all through this thread again (thanks to the lovely photos of the La Femme's on the SOTD thread) and I don't care if it takes me years, I HAVE TO HAVE at least 1 colourway of this scarf!

I'm always one of the last people to fall for a particular scarf and this has taken some time but I simply LOVE the B/W, Blue and Fuchsia colourways of this scarf!

Ali don't give up yet.

I didn't buy my Zabas 'till after a year (like you I never tried on a cw that suited me during their season)

Have you asked the London stores? They keep often 'out of season' scarves in the bottom draws (out of sight - that's where I found the 01 Zaba in Self). Perhaps try Manchester stores too, I have a sneaking feeling they sell less scarves, you can pay over the phone and they can send the the scarf down to a London store.

If I do see one in blue, b/w or fuchsia , of course I shall PM you as soon as is poss.

Me too Ali!......don't give up.... i bought the BW straight away but had to hunt for the Fushia after i decided that i had to have it...... Selfridges often have hidden treasures!
