ODE to Kelly 25

So glad to see this thread! I just bought my first K25 last week and really love it. All my other Kellys are 28's and it's a nice change. At first it seemed small but now that I've tried it and gotten used to it I think it's so chic and cute. I had a lot of trouble finding one through the boutique (and was picky about the color) so ended up buying from a reseller...

Here's a size reference with the 25 and a 28, if anyone's interested. I had posted some mod shots in the How to Wear a Kelly Casually thread too. I think it's such a great size- just love mine. It's Rose Draguee in swift.

Beautiful! We so need those modelling shots....:smile1:

Hi ladies! I've been offered an SO and am considering using it on a K25. I am 5'9, medium build. Do you think the K25 is too small ? I have a K32 already.. I feel like the 28 doesn't make that much of a difference... Would appreciate input from those who have both! I don't need to put that much stuff in it.

I have both, and I actually fit the same amount of stuff in both. The difference is that with the 25, I have to stack things on top of each other in order to fit, which makes reaching for the bottom items a bit of a struggle in such a small bag. I usually only use my 25 when traveling, simply because it's the only size Kelly that I'll wear on the shoulder strap (I don't like a big boxy bag swinging on a strap). If you don't carry much to begin with, it's nice to have the smaller alternative to your 32cm.

Would you post some photos for us? Would love to see.

Here's what I normally carry on my 25cm Kelly. If I add anything like papers, snacks, etc, it has to stack on top of the Karo or my wallet. I pretty much fit the same stuff in my 32cm Kelly, only with a Chameleon organizer. Hope this helps!

Thank you, Ouija board, for your picture! I personally love small bags but I have only Kelly 32. I'm only 5'2" but medium built for American standard, so I'm afraid the Kerly 25 would be too small for me even though I don't carry much on a daily basis. Could you please Share with me more on your experience and option using it? It is so hard to make decision since I can't try it at the store and only chance for me is through online. Thank you!!:smile1:

You're welcome, Pias! I haven't used my 25cm Kelly a lot as an everyday bag, mostly because I only recently scaled down what I carry. But when I travel to Vegas, I find it is the perfect travel bag for flying, dining, and walking around. My biggest issue with it is that I don't have the capacity to add much throughout the day, and I find that no matter how hard I try, I end up with receipts, snacks, and other flotsam and jetsam in my normal day. Less so when I'm traveling and close to my hotel (like Vegas). I do love that the 25 is so light and comfortable to carry. I'm trying to use it more often, now that I don't feel the need to carry everything and the kitchen sink! Way back when I was looking for my first Kelly and Birkin, I pinned together pieces of felt in the dimensions of each bag, just to get an idea of the capacity and how it looked on me. Not exact, but it gives you a better idea than looking at photos. Good luck with your decision!

Merci beau coup, Ouiji board! So, would you say that Kelly 28 might be better than 25? :p

For what I carry right now, the 28 is perfect, but a few years ago, I tended to carry a lot more, so the 32 was better. So basically you need one of each size because you never know when you'll scale down OR start carrying a ton, lol!

Does anyone know if the Kelly 25 sellier style bag comes in other leathers besides epsom or box, currently in production? Just curious.
Also, what do you think of a Kelly 25 Rouge Casaque ghw in epsom, seller? Hoping it's a good choice.
