Has anyone seen these ankle boots instore?

They were in NBS a few weeks ago, they have a little corner devoted to equestrian goods (though I seem to be one of the people who ever buys anything - besides ponchos). They're basically paddock boots (H sells Nedji chaps that turn them into long 'boots' by attaching via the press-stud). Obviously you don't have to wear the short boots riding.

The ankle boots come on its own right? I mean without the parts in your picture?

I didn't know Hermes sold half chaps [emoji2] I must upgrade my current pair which is most definitely not as elegant as these.

They are fabulous (and should be for that price). You can order them from whoever is Hermes' equestrian liaison in your country.

The only drawback is that if one doesn't the matching Nedji booties you don't have the snap button (or the more normal strap that usually goes underneath) to stop them from riding-up.

I'm scared to ask, but what is the price for the half chaps? I was wondering about compatibility with other boots. They look fitted enough to stay put, but I guess there's enough movement while riding to make them shift. I have been eying the Nedji boots, but H boots run a bit narrow for me, even if I size up. Those will have to be on my list of things to try on the next time I'm at the store.

Approx $1K

Below, boots and chaps together
