I find Santorinis do rub a little and Epsom harder to break in. Where is it rubbing? For me the trick was to loosen the ankle straps and now they are absolutely fine. I also think applying moisturiser on my feet help a lot.
Thank you so much for your response 🫶. At first, I was concerned it would rub the back of my ankles but no issues there. It’s mainly the big toe knuckle (🤔not sure what the correct way to describe is lol) that’s rubbing on the side of the sandal. I hope that H part of the shoe stretches for it to be more comfy. I will try your lotion recommendation next.

I posted my solution a few posts back (post 2495 I believe), kinesiology tape! It might work for that area of your foot as well. You can do a search for it on this thread!

I unfortunately have bunions so I tend to have that same great toe knuckle rub on a lot of shoes and create blisters. Bandaid makes a hydrocolloid nude colored bandaid. It’s the same material as a non medicated pimple patch. Once you get a good seal on it, it holds really well and prevents blisters. It worked for me when I was in Europe for 2 weeks and walked 8 miles a day….in new shoes. Not my finest choice as an adult lol.

HAs anyone seen these or have any in real life photos? They look super cool but would appreciate some extra advice.View attachment 6035526
They are lovely, but I wouldn't buy them because I think with every bump the rhinestones will come off, because they look glued on. Can't imagine them holding up well. They should come with complimentary rhinestone repair service for x years lol.

I have an update on these - I have seen them IRL. Much more elegant and understated. Rather than being silver crystal on black, the stones are grey toned. Much finer and smaller and very secure - they are glued/ hot fixed but definitely not likely to fall off easily. Hermes say you can bring back for after sales service if they do fall off too. The shoes looked so much better than online! Very classic pair4e3d186b-5d37-4f3a-8d65-272629744a2e.jpeg

Does anyone own the Ines sandal and if you do can you please comment on the sizing and if one should size up/down or if they are true to size? Confortable? Thanks so much!
I love the Ines sandals and they are true to size for me. I am a size 6.5 and the 36.5 fit perfectly. For boots I usually size up to a 37. The back strap around the ankle did cause rubbing the first day I wore them, so I put a strip of moleskin on the strap which resolved the problem. I have walked many miles in the Ines sandals and they have replaced the Chypres as my most worn H sandals.

Thank you very much for your reply. So helpful! I can’t walk long distances unless there is some arch support and a strap in the back. The constant gripping in a chypre for example is a disaster for me - leg cramps. Hopefully this style will be just what I am looking for.
