Yes these are gorgeous! I bought the Enid in black and natural and returned both as they looked like Forrest Gump’s orthopaedic braces on me. These Galaxy are much more elegant and my store didn’t even order them.
@Genie27 it's very frustrasting. I find that USA has a better selection in shoes than Canada
@Bdbunny they look great on your feet:smile: You're very lucky to live in the USA lol.

Maybe your SA could do a charge send?? There might still be some around? I was lucky to get 2 pairs in my size! Highly recommend. I’ve done a lot of walking in them with no issues and prefer them to my Bouncing sneakers (the other shoes I have with me right now on vacation.) I made the comparison to my Tevas and these are even better because the leather dresses them up a bit. Although I wouldn’t wear them in the water lol!
Unfortunately no charge send as I’m in Canada and I don’t think any store here got them - they didn’t show up online and my SA could not locate them by code either. I will ask again when I visit the store next as they are really my style too - I walk everywhere so comfortable elegant sandals are like gold.

Oh no, so sorry to hear! Maybe they will arrive later. Hoping you get a pair soon! :flowers:

I just got the Hitch loafer I’m normally a 38 but they were huge like 1-2cm in the back so I tried on a 37.5 and it was still a fingertip so got a charge send for the 37 and now it’s just a little tight across the top but length is just right I’m shocked as I’ve never been this size.

Wondering if I should get the 37.5 for the width and add a heel grip (photo 1) excuse my outfit haha

Or do the 37 and hope the top where the H is will stretch just a little with wear (photo 2)

Ugh tough call. I have a pair of H loafers that are too long (my size) but the heel gripper doesn’t work for some reason. My heel still slips… Do you think you could have a cobbler stretch the toe box wider for you? They look really stiff.

Yea my SA said she didn’t think heel grippers would work for a chunky loafer so to go down for the length

I think it’s stiff I think it also holds my foot in the shoe haha

I agree with your SA - chunky shoes are extra annoying when it comes to slipping off the heel because they are heavy. So finding a good fit is extra important otherwise it will be bloody (literally) painful as I’ve found lol.

How tight is the 37? I think it will stretch a bit but may take a while to do so / may never stretch that much. I have a pair of many-years-old Celine loafers in a stiff leather that looks like these and I’ve not found them to have stretched that much.

Hi it’s tight across the width see the arrow where there’s a little crease/bump I wonder if this can be stretched out professionally wherease the 37.5 is a little bigger and I don’t get that bump in the same spot in the 2nd photo but note the gap in the heel with the size up OYE the dilemma

Honestly, I’m in the apparently rare camp that says that some shoes just don’t fit some feet regardless of size. If one size doesn’t fit in area A and the next size up then doesn’t fit in area B, I would just skip the shoe altogether. IME H full leather shoes don’t stretch and it will forever be uncomfortable. They come out with very similar models each season that there is a good chance that next time a very similar one will fit better. Good luck deciding.

I had exactly the same issue with this shoe but in my case the crease was even more noticeable. They were my regular 38. Honestly, I think it’s the combination of the design and the swift leather that causes the issue so I decided not to get them in the end. I didn’t want them to have that massive crease in the front even before I have a chance to wear them. I’m deciding between the Hour loafer and the first oxford shoe which are from the previous season.

Yeah this is tough. I’ve had some (not H) loafers that feel too “low” and squeeze on the top of my foot. In my case it was possible to stretch them (basically stuffing something stiff underneath / using a shoe stretcher and leaving it for a day), so maybe it is possible, but I’d only consider it if you are very very set on keeping these. The heel slippage in 37.5 is a dealbreaker for me for a chunky style like this. I do love the lug sole + no hardware subtle look. But at this stage of my life, no matter how beautiful something looks I’m not going to suffer for it!

I do wonder what’s going on with the sizing - tried on a pair of Gatsby loafers a couple days ago and they were longer and narrower than what I am used to in my usual H size.
