I recently got Hoxton oxford shoes - Mary Jane shoes. Heavy shoes because of the rubber soles but very pretty. Size is a true fit but because I have a narrow feet, I wish they come in half size. I got size 7 - a bit bigger but size 6 would be tight.View attachment 5798871View attachment 5798872

Looks great on you!!

I was thinking of getting these (I know they should have a couple other colors) and while I expected them to be heavy as is inevitably the case with any thick soles / platforms - which by the way seems to be everywhere right now I’m guessing it’s a current trend? Very happy about that as a short person - I didn’t realize they don’t come in half size!! Unfortunately that means I probably won’t be able to find a good, tight fit (which I’ve found to be necessary for these heavy / thick sole shoes because otherwise they will fall and chafe the back of my ankles as I walk…a painful lesson I learned!)

How does everyone store their H shoes? my collection is always growing, and dust bags are getting quite annoying. Am I in the minority of getting rid of the boxes and the dust bags? i leave my shoes shelved in my closet to pull from. dust and all.

Yup. I don’t even take the boxes from the store. The dust bags go into a very large drawer that 8 don’t open otherwise. Sometimes I stuff them into larger dust bags and place them in my bags to hold shape lol

@momoc , i always assumed these shoes came in half sizes, but that I was always too late before they sold out lol

@Styleanyone , love your Mary Jane’s :smile:

@Lizzie2022 I keep all my boxes and dustbags. I like to put my shoes in the dustbags when I travel:smile:
But honestly not sure how many more boxes I can fit as I don't have a huge closet lol.

I save my dust bags to use as shoe bags too! My daughter was traveling and needed a bag for her flip flops and I gave her a dust bag, and she said, “oh fancy!” I also roll up the dust bags and use them as bag fillers/pillows and I’ve been using a small dust bag (I think it was for a belt) as a bag liner. I used to keep the boxes but now I’ve started recycling them. My husband says they are a pain to break down! I usually just ask for tissue paper instead of a box now if I’m at a store, but since I do a lot of remote shopping with my SA, I get shipped a lot of items… in boxes.:P

Hi! I just bought the Extra sandals in black and I’ve worn them twice. They are comfortable to walk in as far as the sole is concerned, but I’ve been getting blisters at the top of my foot. Also, I’m normally a 37 and my SA recommended I size up a whole size, these are 38. I’ll post a photo of where they are digging in my skin and I circled in red. I really hope I can break them in because they’re cuter than Birkenstocks.
Hello, any update regarding your problem with the extra sandals ? Have the same problem as well !

Hi, just thought I would post here re my experience with oasis.
i sized up to a 38 oran and oasis bc I wanted the extra length in an open toe sandal.
im normally a 37.5 in the hermes closed boot and I believe a 37 in one of the H sneaker models.

I have a relatively wide foot, not B width, but closer to C. The sandals are loose, so I’ve been
experimenting with various insoles. I finally went to my cobbler (with a pair of older valentino
rock stud block heeled sandals that fit, for sake of comparison

He is opening up the sandal upper part of the H. And, making it smaller by 1/4 inch on each side.
This is my trusted cobbler, a neighborhood guy, not a specialist. I’m going back next week for
a second fitting lol. he is charging me about 50USD a pair (He is also doing two pairs of newer
Valentinos which are looser than the older models) Which I think is quite reasonable.
Will update (and will bring in some orans) if this works

Please do update how that goes! That would be a game changer for me and H sandals!

I passed on several pairs of strappy sandals because my feet slid out of them. I’ve had my local cobbler shorten a pair of Valentino ankle straps but nothing as drastic as your description. But if yours works, I have an old pair of too-loose orans to experiment with.

I found my every day walking sandals!!! The Enid sandals are so comfy and cute! Cushy sole with arch support, Velcro strap across the top of my foot so it doesn’t slide around, plus ankle strap. Seriously obsessed.

ETA: it just dawned on me why I like these so much. They’re just like Tevas!!! Just a fancy H version!

How do you find the polyurethane insole compared to your tevas? It was my only hesitation with this sandal, as I would have preferred leather. PU makes my feet feel sweaty, although I have no such issue with my teva tirras

I walked around for a couple hours in 90 degree heat and didn’t notice my feet getting sweaty… they held up really well! It was my first time wearing them and I didn’t have any issues, and usually unless I’m wearing my Hokas, I always complain about my feet hurting after 30 min lol. I am actually considering getting a second pair for when these wear out!
