Oh the other thing is my SA told me if I put the sole on then they don’t provide after sale service and they actually do not recommend it. Is it true?

Thanks again!

I have more than a few pairs of Hermes shoes & I have not re-soled any of them so far. Just have had to
have them re-heeled as needed & my SA told me several years ago to leave your shoes as they are.
There are some that have used Vibram soles that is your personal choice for me I would just wear my shoes &
enjoy them.

Hi Everyone,
I need your advice please.
Yesterday I got my first pair of Hermes Shoes, totally classic Hermes Oran Sandals in Gold.
I didn’t looked at them yesterday very much. Today I unboxed them and tried them on and I am not sure if I should take half a size up because my toes do a little bit overlap in the front [emoji853] I know my toes are a little bit longer than normally but I don’t know if this looks like the shoes are too small for me [emoji853]
I would be very grateful for your advice [emoji258]

Maybe try the half size up. It looks like H cuts them a little too narrow width wise, for you, it might be uncomfortable to walk in this pair.

My boutique surprisingly had a lot of stock of the rivage sandals. I was able to try the black and was so excited about them. I never really liked them in pictures but I loved them when I saw them in person. But because my pinky toes are actual hunchbacks, they always ruin good shoes for me. Unfortunately the circle pattern pressed into my pinky toes and was extremely uncomfortable, so I had to pass [emoji20]
Hi. This is an old reply but wanted to bring it up again because I'm in the same situation. I love them sooo much and want to keep them but it bothers my pinky toe too. Anyone run into this and tough it out for the love of H? [emoji23] Did it somehow soften or stretch over time? Gimme some hope [emoji120][emoji28]

Thank you my dear.
I already wrote my SA an Email and he told me to reserve one half a size up for me when they came in because they aren’t in stock at this Moment. We will see if they fit better.
The problem is, the back part (at my heel) fits perfectly and I am scared if I pick half a size up they fit better in the front to my toes but maybe they are to big at the back part for my heel [emoji30][emoji30][emoji29]

I'd try a half size up in the Orans. JMO, your toes look rather cramped.
See how the half size looks & feels to your eye. Also remember when it is hot outside, your feet
could get a little uncomfortable when walking.

Thank you my dear for being honest and your advice [emoji258][emoji258]
It doesn’t squeeze my toes but it doesn’t look good too. And that’s what bothers me [emoji29]
I don’t the people to stare at me and think like look at weird foot.. the shoes are a little bit too small or bla [emoji23][emoji23][emoji85][emoji85][emoji30][emoji85]
Half a size up is not in stock at the moment but my SA said he will reserve one for me if they arrive [emoji120]
Thank you [emoji92]

HI LBA, Often I run into the same problem with sandals and any shoes with open toes. My solution is to bring my oldest DD along with me bc she is totally unbiased and used to be an assistant stylist for Rachel Zoe.

That being said, I looked at your pics and I think that your new Oran sandals seem to fit perfectly. The Oran shoe, in general, runs WIDE at the toe, my fear is if you go up even a half size they might not fit as well.

Best of luck, let us know what you decide.

Can you try another color in the Oran to just see the fit & how it looks since your color is not available?
You can also look at Hermes.com & see if it is available there just as a suggestion

1. Are the shoes comfortable?
2. Do you like how they look?
I think they look great. Remember that a wider shoe may make your foot slide forward off the footbed. Orans aren’t for everyone. I struggled finding the right size.

Hi VigeeLeBun,
thank you so much for your advices [emoji254][emoji272][emoji259]
As I already said, the heel is perfect! Its just the front where my big toe overlaps a little bit on the side and the fourth toe because that one is longer than it normally should be [emoji85][emoji12]
I think I will wait until the 38,5 will arrive and just try to see and feel what is better [emoji85]
I just don’t want to look like my shoes are too small but I am glad to have TPF and this community to ask what you think and to ask for advice.
Thank you so much [emoji92]
I will give an update when I tried the other one and compared them both [emoji28]

By the way, does anyone else have this problem where the toes overlap a little bit..?

Hi Dreaming Big,
I feel like they are comfortable to me.
The first time I tried them on my SA had only 38,5 and I felt like they where a little bit too big. So I waited for the 38. they arrived two days ago and I only put this size on and looked at the heels and this was fitting perfectly. So I brought them home with me.
And then when I tried them on again I had the feeling that they are to small in the front [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji29]
I am so sad.
I really wanted them so bad and love the classic look of them.
They’re always sold out in one or two days when they arrive in stock again, so at the moment there is no 38,5 back in another color too to compare [emoji29]
You are right I think. I am scared that my foot maybe slides forward and the shoe doesn’t fit anymore.
What do you think how the toes look? Does the shoe looks to small in the front? Please be honest. And what did you do because of the right size? Which one did you pick and why? And would you mind showing me a photo how yours look like on you feet?
Thank you so much for your advice [emoji92][emoji259][emoji258]
