Va Va Voom! You look amazing!
The daylight really shows off the gorgeous BdP.
I can tell by the fringe and drape that the Alamo is a finer weave than the Rocabar, very elegant.

Wow!!! This looks absolutely smashing on you!!! And isn't it great to have two ponchos in one? :D Major congrats and enjoy your new beauty! You are really rocking this beautiful piece!!!

Monceau and Sammy Royal, thank you so much! I'm totally inspired by the photos you've both posted, and can't wait to try out more looks when I have access to more of my closet....

Hi Calexandre Cheering for you in your adorable Bleu de Prusse Alamo

You were right to hold out for this beauty , the colour is made for you and the elegance of the Alamo is perfect for city breaks and New York .I imagine it working beautifully with some of your 90cm silks for the chilly days too.
Hope you are enjoying La Dolce Vita in Milan:cool:

Frou Frou, I owe you big time for helping convince me on this one! Just having it for cold plane flights alone is worth it, let alone swanning around town in it.

Oh my goodness! I can't wait to see this in person. If I ask really, really nice, will you let me try it? :D I hope you've been having a beautiful time in Milan.

Somehow I think you'll be allowed to test it out all you want. ;)

I love this on you! I tried this color and style on in the store and didn't buy it, I was hoping to compare it to the Rocabar in person, I am regretting it now.

Rainneday, thank you for the compliment! Perhaps a second poncho is in order for you? (I'm now trying to resist the Rocabars myself.)

Hi Poncho wearers,
Has anyone else been annoyed by the très unchic cheap looking acetate white care label sewn into the front of the poncho Rocabar . Not sewn down, just caught into the leather trim.
It's really horrible, obvious , and IMO not in keeping .
But it will be hard to cut it out without leaving a tell-tale strip of white acetate :nogood:

I'm so bugged by labels in garments , seldom are they well placed .
Also labels on almost everything else from apples to shampoo .Grrrrr.........

I used an exacto knife to remove mine. I placed a thin metal ruler underneath to prevent any damage to the poncho. Works great and doesn't leave any sign of the label.

Frou Frou, this drives me nuts too-- it sticks out and really does look tacky. I actually have never cut a label off any of my H items-- in fact, I even avoid buying scarves that have them cut off, even mousselines!-- but this one has got to go, so I think I'm going to be trying Monceau's exacto trick ASAP.

This one really is a stunner , love to see you modelling it !
I feel myself feeling the need for this beautiful svelte anthracite , love the way the Barenia is thrown into relief .

I keep getting asked where I bought my Rouge H Rocabar which I find terribly embarrassing , no way will I divulge my H addiction:graucho:

Finally as promised... :smile1: Would have loved to take the pics outdoors but it is such a very grey day today...

I've been MIA on tPF for a couple months due to work but had to comment on your modelling pics ~ you look AMAZING! You have really found a groove with the poncho, making it so stylish and classy. Especially love how you've paired it with a scarf, utter perfection, Sammy Royal.
