AAAAAAHHHH!!!

Thanks to Flava and Arabesques, I got the Rouge Rocabar....AGAIN!!!

These are thicker than the burberry, very much like a luxurious and beautiful security blankie!
I am sooooo anxious to see IFs modeling pics of the Paille, because I am already tempted to
add another.

I've ordered a leather tie belt to go with it. I hope we get a shot of cold weather soon!

Ok, so this should prove the influence this thread has had on me...I was CONVINCED this poncho was SO NOT ME, until I was all the photos on this thread. I'm going to blame Israeli_Flava and arabesques for indirectly coercing me into visiting my H store today to try on the yellow cw. Mindi, I would say it is absolutely a mustard yellow, as IF has said. I don't know what your coloring is, but I'm a very fair skinned, platinum blonde with lots of pink in my skin. The yellow absolutely did not work on me. So, my H has ordered the blue one and I will be trying it on when it comes in next week. Mindi, if you were in Canada, I would say you could have the blue one I'm trying on if it doesn't work on me. Not sure if H will transfer between stores in different countries, but perhaps they would if you asked??

Thank you so much, rainneday! My SA said there are currently none in that color in the US and she, at least, didn't anticipate getting any, but who ever knows with H? I hope yours comes in and you love it!

Wow, they must have sold out in the US between Monday and today! That is crazy! IF really drew a lot of attention to the poncho for them My SA had said that there were none in my local store at the moment but that they should be getting more in, in the future. What that means is up for interpretation Ideally I would like to compare at least two colors before deciding if it will work for me. I'll ask her about it again today when I go in, and maybe we can narrow down what "in the future" means...

Ok, Mindi, I was able to try the other style (not the Rocabar--I am probably butchering that name) in the Prussian Blue. Don't ask me how I left without it it was hard. But I really would like to see both of them before I decide. The Prussian Blue is gorgeous with the Rouge H trim/tassels. I also held up the red version just for an idea on color..the blue suited me best. They did not have any of the style that I want in stock, but my SA did say that they will definitely be getting more in soon (of both types of Poncho). I'm hopeful that your boutique will too!

All the ladies here look fab ,has anyone worn their poncho with an H scarf or shawl is it too much ?.

When I was in today and tried on the Prussian Blue all I could think was that it would look amazing with my new ZP shawl, some of the blues were very similar. So, imo, I do think it could work with a shawl, especially if the shawl is kept trim instead of full and poufy.

rainneday, let me know how you get on with the Prussian Blue! I could be wrong, but I think the leather trim on the Rocabar is Barenia, while the Alamo (which you tried) has the Rouge H trim. In case that's a factor for anyone!

Love the photo of you barefoot on that wood deck in wide-leg jeans and the poncho-- what a great look, all of it-- your clothes, the poncho, the setting, the relaxed vibe!

Hahahahaa I'm so glad u decided to give it another shot.
Soooo while I was at the boutique I tried the poncho on with my various H belts (not a CDC belt tho) and I preferred not to have a belt. The belt looked alright IMO but it was messing up the flow of the tassels.... Maybe it will look better with a more plain, non-logo belt. For me, the best way to wear it is to toss one side over my shoulder. It adds demension by showing off one leg while remaining cocooned in heavenly fabic
