Hi all clutch admirers. [emoji175] I need some help. Can you tell me what your thoughts are regarding the Constance long wallet? I have longed for a grab and go wallet that can hold my iPhone as well as coins, bills etc. This wallet seems to fit the bill. But it's quite expensive. What are your thoughts?

Have you seen and tried the constance wallet in person? I was of similar mind as you that it would be a good everyday wallet that could also work as a clutch, but after trying it out at a boutique, I found it it too small to use as a clutch (both interior capacity and exterior dimensions ) but too big and unwieldy to use as wallet. Also, the H clasp is not the easiest to use and I need to have a wallet that opens quickly:)!

Hi GAMOGIRL, thanks for your reply! You are absolutely right. I suppose I was hoping my impression was incorrect. I have seen this wallet irl and tried really hard to justify it, but you confirmed my feelings. I truly appreciate your response and honest opinion. Thanks a million!!!

Sorry to make it harder for you, but I am dying for this wallet. I think the size is good and if you don't carry much, it's a perfect clutch, esp for running around during the day.

I use a Kelly Wallet daily in my B (definitely harder to open but that doesn't bother me) and although that will absolutely fit an iPhone and maybe a few other things, using the wallet as a clutch will stretch it out. The Constance is bigger so no worries about that. When I carry my KP at night, all I put in it is my compact silkin wallet, iPhone, lipstick and mini-purell - the Constance wallet can fit all I need. As much as I love the look of the Jige, the lack of structure bothers me as a practical matter, which I why I never bought one.

I think you really do need to try this wallet for yourself because it really depends on how you feel about the closure and the size.

Oh no BBC. You are absolutely correct as well. I actually have seen this wallet at the boutique and it's the closest thing to what I'm looking for. I envision myself using it as a grab and go clutch, when I don't feel like toting a bag around. It fits my iPhone and essentials perfectly. The interior is so well laid out and the workmanship is incredible. Cost per wear would be acceptable to me as I would plan on using it a lot. And, like you, the jige is not that appealing to me. I love seeing it on other people, but it's so flat and large and without compartments like the Constance. Two different clutches and two different looks. The Constance is what I am looking for ..I only wish it wasn't so bulky. I'd be happy with half the amount of card compartments in order to streamline it and make it more user friendly as a wallet. I hope you find your Constance soon. It's truly a special piece. Thanks again for your reply!

Sorry!!! [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38] If you don't like size that does make it easier for you - I don't find it bulky (if you want flatter and less compartments, maybe a Dogon? I think that will fit a phone too. Many people like the Azap but to me it's too plain).

I feel the same way as you do about the Jige - its so pretty but too flat and open for me, I would be afraid to use it.

Unfortunately (fortunately???) my boutique has the exact C wallet I want....I am trying to avoid going in and grabbing it!

As much as I've tried not to love the Constance wallet, I do. Your reply helped me to admit this fact.

Sometimes I have to learn not to overthink things and simply enjoy.
And also go with my heart - if it feels right, it probably is.
Hope to hear what unfolds with the piece at your local boutique.

Hahaha I have to agree! You know you want one....admit it....no pressure!!!

As to what will unfold for me....a Constance wallet is inevitable. I will do my best to delay but it's just a delay!!!
