It honestly look so minor the craftsman may advise you not to bring it in for a spa until your bag shows more wears and tears. Judging by your photos the leather is in such good, supple condition I wouldn't want to mess with it just yet. A lot of people just enjoy their bags with minor scratches and scuff marks because over time they'll look less noticeable as the leather patina. I have major OCD & that's why I've yet to opt for box leather, it's so classic & beautiful though

Hi does anyone know if black box scuffed corners can be refurbished easily? Have to make a trip to another state just to send it in so if its not something that will make a diff, then trying to save a trip thanks!

I don’t really see much in your picture but I hear box is one of easier leathers to restore.

Just received my 18 years old Kelly 28 box today. I matched it with a brand new twilly. The one next to it, is chamonix bolide 31 at 19 years old, box sibling in matte

love them both soo much.. so in love with this leather.

This looks like the leather may be quite dry and is cracked on both sides of the strap.

Yes recently k25 in box sellier. I think Constance too. Not sure abt birkins

I just got a black box mini Kelly and I have seen a black box Constance in recent memory in store. It’s not particularly common but they definitely make box items still.

I tried but my SA which is always extremely nice was reluctant to add box leather to my K28 wishlist....didnt understand why. We ended up going for Barenia Faubourg as a "sign" that I prefer natural leathers.

Anyone else experienced this?

Box is almost always push offer only....this might be why an SA would be iffy about "wishlisting" it? To be honest it doesn't make much sense to me as - as wonderful as Box is - it's not actually that popular with the majority of customers, and if you love it you should have a good shot of getting it offered.
