The sheen on her is just stunning! I just want to reach out and virtually touch her (but of course would not without asking for permission). Do you condition the leather or does it just look like that as the bag gets older?

Thanks chincac, Hed Kandi, ferrip. Ferrip, it's been wet recently and so Ms BBB hasn't seen much sun time. She's actually been sitting in my closet and I took her out to check on her. I think the leather got a better patina just sitting in my closet!

The thread was way round the back of page 2 of the Ode threads, I had to bump it! Love the boxcalf beauties here.

my raisin box B was rained on a few times last week...quite heavy rain too..it survived intact! phew!!! :D

I am simply drooling over her! I might just display her as a center piece or something! haha. I hope the fall is sunny so she can frolic! Her GHW with her accoutrements are just perfect!

Phew! I'd have gotten heart failure! Glad it survived!!

My favouite black box H flats got caught in a shower and became heavily rain spotted. I was too lazy to waterproof before wearing and have regretted it. The spots have faded with a layer of Meltonian, and I guess they are shoes after all, so no one would really notice.

I do polish all my boxcalf bags and jumping boots! i enjoy it actually, especially seeing the bag gleaming after a good polish. yes i am nuts but what the heck!! So not panicky about rain at all.

You and loves both... She's another who treats her bag regularly and her box calf has become storm indestructible. I polish mine often but too chicken to brave the rain.
