Thanks, zenith. Yup, that's one of my cats in my bag. It was one of those very brief moments that my OH managed to snap and was lucky enough to get a nice shot.

I love this thread, so much eye candy!

Here's a recent picture of my now 8 year old raisin box Birkin, affectionately known as Miss Prunella.

I try to avoid carrying it if it looks like it might rain but otherwise I try to take it out and use it regularly.

Stunning bag and I love the backdrop, everyones holy grail the noir CMSC!

sigh, guess who spilled half a tub of leather cream all over her prune box kelly wallet???

how was i supposed to know the darn cream was so 'watery'???

how was i supposed to know i'm not supposed to open that tub OVER my wallet (the very wallet i was hoping to rescue)...

i don't even want to look at my wallet anymore... -suicidal-

Oh no....Did you get the JL shoe cream in the tub? If so, that shouldn't be watery at all but like a thick gel....

oh dear... the one i got is very watery as well. the SA told me that this particular cream is perfect for croc/alligator. but i really don't see any visible improvements.

Hi everyone,
I'd love to hear opinions about how heavy box calf is. I know Birkin is quite heavy in any leather, but is box on the lighter or the heavier side? I'm thinking about a 35 box birkin for a school bag. I'm not sure yet thought, how much books I will have to be carrying around daily.
