I was just at FSH and I showed the craftsman there the scratches on my box Kelly wallet (I threw my wallet into my bag, not realizing I had KEYS in there). He recommended a leather cream for delicate leather from the John Lobb store just next to his counter... I got a tub of that and will be attempting a rescue of my wallet... So this time round I copped out (don't hit me, box fans!) and got a Togo Birkin instead (but my SA told me to continue working up courage cos, in his words, "box is the best leather")... Maybe next time!

I love this thread, so much eye candy!

Here's a recent picture of my now 8 year old raisin box Birkin, affectionately known as Miss Prunella.

I try to avoid carrying it if it looks like it might rain but otherwise I try to take it out and use it regularly.

Argh but I'm such a careless person, my vache fjord is all of 2 months old and ive already scuffed the corners... Box seems so insurmountable but whenever I see pics like those of prunella... Argh

how was i supposed to know the darn cream was so 'watery'???

how was i supposed to know i'm not supposed to open that tub OVER my wallet (the very wallet i was hoping to rescue)...

i don't even want to look at my wallet anymore... -suicidal-
