ODE to Box Calf

Box is my first H love.

Box is not "fragile" and I can testify it ages beautifully.
Here is a picture of my 35 Black Box Birkin when I had it 2 years ago...

and today still beautiful IMO (and I'm using it almost everyday) ...

That's why I had to have a small Medor in box too...

DH saw this picture and said "That's a sweet line up."

All I have to say is I have to update the picture ...

fromparis what a fabulous collection wonderfull taste, have you ever been caught in rain with one of your box bags how did it hold up

I've been caught in the rain with my box Birkin ( almost new, only 3 days old)...When I arrived to my car I just put the bag on the passenger seat. But when I arrived home, the leather had some greyish blisters. I used Valmour cream...but the blisters were still there (less grey and more black though). It was very late at night so went to bed ( and not slept well). The next morning the blisters were gone.
Now when I'm caught in the rain, I wipe the bag immediately and the box remains perfect !

I found a 36HAC in black box and a VN in a 36HAC. It took patience.
