Honestly? I would keep it. I sold my 30 Barenia at a time when I thought I wld use 35 more, now I regret it. Not that I wld use the 30 often, but I realized even though your size preference wld change over time - your leather preference stay with you. As a fellow barenia lover, I would keep it. On the other hand, if you want to sell it, sell it to me! :lol:

Valuable thoughts, thank you so much!

I think the weight would bother me more and more over time, it really did lately … and I might get an lighter preloved ostrich instead (which I love but do not own so far). Dreaming of a olive green HAC 32 since ages or the black Barenia HAC 32. or a K32 Black Barenia. I think I would prefer all of these to this B40 and as I do not want to add too much bags to my small collection, I think I need to let go…

I would love to sell to someone here as I know they would appreciate it so much, but I know it is against the rules. And I’ve already promised it to this person if I sell.

K32 wld be great!! That’s also on my next barenia list. Well then it’s settled! Lucky new owner. If you ever see another black 40B pls pls do give us a shout. I have a big laptop and could use a 40 while traveling for work. 35 is great but once the laptop is in there, there’s not much room for more.

Good luck on your hunt!! And congrats to the new owner. She got a real stunner. :clap:

Exactly why I got this one in the first place - to fit my laptop! Now I am down to the smaller MacBooks (w13 inch?) which leave enough space in the B35 … I‘ll give you a shout if I see one!

Keeping our fingers crossed for our k 32s then!

My holy grail has arrived. I’ve loved Hermès for as long as I can remember….the Birkin has always been favorite. When I found tPF in 2020, I went down the reference rabbit hole hard and read everything I could about all of the leathers and knew at that point what my dream bag was…..it arrived today.

2003 Birkin 35 in smooth Fauve Barenia GHW. I absolutely love this bag. It’s exactly what I’ve dreamed. Thank you to @docride for making my holy grail a reality (and the adorable barenia H keychain)!

Happy to share some more Barenia - my new to me Garden party Barenia/Toile 😊 before taking her out for the first time today!

I always wanted to get a garden party but never came across the right colour / material combo, as I want to wear it in summer. Did not know they ever came in Barenia /toile…
