Barenia Batista with poppy interior and a compact Barenia silken wallet.. Love the leather… Too cute to pass up. A perfect match for Lanit's Calvi.

Oh sassy, such fun pieces. I can't wait to hear about your wallet use. Honestly, it hurts my heart to reveal this--but I bought the full size barenia wallet and am afraid to use her. She is so fabulous but unused. :nogood:

Lanit!! Did you ever decide on pieces????

Barenia Friends,

Many of you know Biscuit. This is her fourth year and her patina has really developed!! She has a new black No-Brains Horse-head charm and is ready for her rotation!! (The striations on her back side make me crazy!)

I do plan on using her. I had plan to use these pieces initially with my gold Evelyne...I do like being match match sometimes. The compact Silkin will probably be used for cc cards, business cards, while the batiste for coins and perhaps a very small amount of cash. This is my thinking at least. In Virginia it feels like it has been raining forty days and forty nights haha so I will wait to use them in rotation on a bright sunny day. I'll keep you posted

Oh...Lisa..I remember your fantastic reveal. I think you bought it in NC. I was so happy seeing your reveal and thought about it yesterday. It is nice to know you are putting int back into rotation since getting your wonderful new exotic. You have such great reveals. Are the striations really bad? I would think in several years it would add to its rich history.. but could also see it being a little annoying. Do you find that your bag requires a lot of care? I did think about this prior to making my small purchases. I have some other bags that are in the same type of leather that I have had over 40 years and I simply love the patina on natural colors. However, I think I am much more educated and sensitive with my bags as of late.

Dear sassy, Thank you for the feedback on slgs in barenia. Look forward to hearing about your experiences.

Yes, Biscuit comes out every year about this time or later. I love her. And I was not clear about striations. I LOVE them and WISH they were on the front of the bag. One day in San Francisco, in the boutique, the craftsperson, Dominique was walking out to go to lunch and he glanced at my bag on the counter, took a double take and had to come back to admire. I felt like a proud Mamma! I asked WHY would someone not put those striations on the front and he just smiled, saying it was the craftsman's decision. :noggin:

Oh good, I love the rich history and character of each bag. You have a great collections of Bs.Enjoy Biscuit this season.

Biscuit looks lovely with patina and new charm [emoji173]️ The slgs are great too. My barenia Princess is on her way to Paris tomorrow. It will be her second trip to FSH this year.

You're lucky
They are nice
My store hardly has anything in barenia

I went to my local boutique with the intention but to get a Gold Calvi. When I got to the store, since it was early morning on a slow rainy day, I asked the SA to go through all of the drawers to see if here are any things I found interesting...when the Barenia it was love at first site. Even the SAs mentioned that it rare. Bagidiotic, I hope you locate the Barena items that you are looking for soon. You know the Hermes game...it is always unpredictable.

sorry to hear that duna :-(
it's definitely the jeans' fault - I would be careful when wearing them next to anything but dark shoes and furniture! And tops too. Perhaps after several cold water washes you can. I think you will be amazed how much dye comes out in the water when you wash; test out in the laundry sink to see.
Perhaps an H spa can help your barenia though
best of luck to you on this :-)

Thanks my dear for your kind reply:heart:

You're absolutely right about jeans and colour transfer: my problem is that I wear them 90% of the time, lol, that's why I don't have light coloured bags.....I'll have to be more careful when I carry my Barenia baby!
