Oh, they're out there! The 40 is definitely BIG... but it's great for (dry) days when I have a lot of stuff to either pick up or carry around. I try to use my Silky Pop so I don't dislocate my arm, though!

I conditioned the bag with Hermes baume and it really did an amazing job on the dryness that was in the creases.

I heard Barenia is quite heavy... Is it like clemence-40 heavy or box-40 heavy?

but seriously, i really do think barenia is "all that" -- unfortunately word is out on the street about it and the premium is :tup: (<- keep the thumb up, change the smile -- that's what i want to say)

:roflmfao::roflmfao: I swear it wasn't because of you... And don't worry, one shalt never steals one's barenia! (Unless she is a 35 w/ ghw, then we would be in trouble)

Barenia IS all that. I never have touched one before, and I really didn't understand what the whole big deal is. But you know what they say, once you go barenia, you never go back. As for the premium... Yeah, I might need to postpone my saving plan for a croc if I end up finding my dream barenia. But I think it is TOTALLY worth it... If I can find one, that is.

When you say "premium", are you referring to secondary market? Is there a significant price differential at the store, say, over box or clemence? Has anyone had any luck getting one at Hermes lately, or is it really not available?

Ebene barenia HAC or birkin with gold hardware is my dream bag (cough cough, LailaT...:sneaky:), more so than croc, and apparently harder to find than croc. Oh, well, I will just admire everyone's lovely bags from afar.

I heard that h only makes a handful a year so supply is really limited. There are pre-loved ones in the secondary market. Last time I saw a brand new 30 being sold for more than 10k (think to one of us actually!). But then again, once in a blue moon, you do see a bargain if one is lucky.

I wish they were lighter in weight though... If they were the same weight as box then I would really be in heaven. Oh well...

As for saving for a croc... (sigh) not so successful so far huh. LOL. But I think a barenia is as elegant as a croc. But instead of getting a Kelly, I am afraid I would get a Birkin now. Oh well... Temptation is everywhere, isn't it? :devil:
