I live in an area where there are some wealthy communities. (Not my particular community, but surrounding ones.) So the consignment shops often get good things. It's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time! The shop owner told me that the previous week she had FIVE H scarves... but by the time I got there, she only had two (darn it!). Plus a Chanel scarf which was soft as butter, but I didn't like the color. But then other times I "make the rounds" and don't find a thing. Which is probably a good thing, LOL!

So pleased you're reviving this thread, sophieg! It just so happens I lucked out on a 2002 AF scarf yesterday at one of my local consignment shops: Terres Precieuses. I couldn't believe my luck. I now have 8 Annie Faivre scarves.
Here it is tied, and then a picture of the nearly-always-present monkey!

H don't seem to make many navy scarves, I've a Les Abre de la Vie which also has gold and silver in it. My fave bag is Bleu Marine so I'm always on the look out. I wasn't even planing on buying MeM at all, but there was no way I could leave this I love everything about it

We're identical twins on MetM, papertiger! It's such a gorgeous scarf, but a bit too stiff for me. I'm going to wash it tomorrow and try to get some of the stiffness out of it. Yesterday I washed my Napoléon, and it came out looking gorgeous. So fingers crossed for MetM!I adore the the colours you choose, all of them!

Thanks, kate! This is a different consignment store than the one I ordinarily shop at... I've never seen H scarves there before, and was very surprised to find two there yesterday!
