Here is Alphabet 3, in a 90cm silk twill.

It's my one and only (but hopefully not last) scarf designed by Annie Faivre. The SS 1990 scarf booklet describes the letters 'Y', 'J', 'A', and 'S' surrounding 'Hermes' as having a special meaning, as they are the initials of members of the Hermes family. While it was first offered in the spring of 1990, mine is a finesse from 1999 in a creamy white, with light grey.

I love this whimsical design, especially in this very quiet palette. The numerous animals are all hard at work, :doggie: depicting various letters.
Love finesses and duochrome scarves, and this one is a dream.

I always enjoy your modeling shots, Etoile de mer! You have a unique, thoughtful collection of scarves (and horn pieces)that work so well with your wardrobe.

Hello Bond7Girl! Sending many thanks, so very sweet of you! I was just thinking of you, and hoping you and your little one are well!

Beautiful! I have this in a twilly (turquoise on white) and love the little critters. Such a charming design.

Thank you for remembering :smooch: I was in L&D the same night! Posting on this board was literally the last thing I did before the little guy decided to bust out. Hope this good omen means he'll be a stylish man one day. My silk wearing is largely on hold, however, after a near-incident with a Pelages... :) Good thing Hermes dabbles in cotton scarves as well.

thanks!
actually i found the monkey in 5 sec :D

Lucky you! It took me ten minutes of crawling around Amours to find its monkey :giggles:

P.S. Ksyusha, I've just realized that I've been following your scarf blog for months. The photography is breathtaking. You should post your reveals on this board!

Oh how great to hear, sending many congratulations! Even sans silks, I'm sure you're a most stylish, new Mom! :smile1:

I am so thrilled to be able to post here - this is my first Annie Faivre scarf!
From A/W 2013, La Promenade de Platon, CW14 Lavande/Vert/Saumon
The monkey is very easy to spot in this one, hanging out above the runners - the design seems to fit the 2013 Sports theme as it depicts athletes at the Panathenian games in the style of Greek vases

Hello sophieg! I can see why this one captured your heart. :smile1: The illustrations are beautiful, and you're looking radiant! Must see this in person, and hoping one of the colorways might work for me. Many thanks for sharing, and enjoy your new scarf!
